I can hear 3 kids coughing and barking upstairs. Think it's going to be another loooong night.

Kelly,Pixie, Dan Carter has an absolutely stunning wife . He's devoted to her and his two little boys. For all the glamour, he's still a country kid from a very small town in the South Island.

Morning! Three days at work then that's it till 4 Jan.

How are all the ill adults and children? My throat is still scratchy. Not ill exactly but definitely out of sorts. Roll on Wednesday and locking up my desk.

Luckily I can still admire Dan Carter kuia.

Woke up with that feeling like I've been punched in the eye; a possibility given DS's behaviour yesterday.

So much to get done in the next few days. Rather unhelpfully MrP is pissing off to Swansea for 3 days this week.

Bizarrely the kids slept through overnight. I was expecting a rough one.

I'm trying not to panic at all the things I've got to do. I'll get kids to help me wrap DH's today and and my parents ones. I say help but I'll be spending my time telling the kids not to muck on with the sellotape.

Only a couple of days to do ilove. Hopefully you'll feel better for when you break up.

Morning. Love that legs akimbo pic though I'm having problems working out where the legs are cos there seems to be one missing... And his hand on her leg is causing me palpitations.

Oh dear kelly. Sorry to hear about turkey-gate. Yes, turkey can be dry but as said previously, Kelly bronze turkeys are fab and really juicy and you don't even have to cover them in bacon etc. We started getting them after I saw Delia rave about them and Jamie Oliver uses them. And they come with a meat thermometer so now we have a whole drawer full.

V envious of you rich. I bet York is looking so festive. As a teenager I would lunch with my bestie downstairs at Bettys and think we were so grownup and posh! Also there used to be a dress shop called Droopy and Brown's that was considered the ultimate in evening wear - specialised in enormous pouffy ball gowns. We yearned for one of their monstrous creations. Ahh the 1980s...

We are heading off to the station homeward bound to London. I can't tell you how much we loved York. Everyone is super friendly, so many bars (we did a few!) abs restaurants. Sad to leave so go back to normal stuff, kids and work! But we will definitely be back .

Anyone seen the pictures of Jay and alionia this morning? They look quite intense!

Oh and we had a family trip to see Star Wars last night. Great fun but that could have been the copious amounts of mulled wine I had. And I was very tempted to get all ds' star wars figures out of the loft and play with them again!

We're going to see Star Wars tomorrow eve orphan. Having never seen a Star Wars film before I'm not that looking forward. Kids have been trying to get me to watch back to back films ahead of the new one... I managed to get out of that one. Cinema night always means pizza express and wine, so I'm always in!

I'm so excited to see Star Wars orph. Think we'll dump the kids on the in laws when we're down south over the holidays to see it! I do like the stormtrooper look.

Thanks for the tip orph. Hopefully Mam will be the Turkey bringer hither this year so I'll let her know about that type.

Glad you had a lovely time rich. Bars and Restaurants are my favourite things! Have the kids missed you do you think? Yes I saw the Jay pics this morning. I think there could be something going on between them. Aliona's poor hubby.

kelly no such luck he's very noisy in the jumperoo and I don't trust the dog not to lick him to death whilst I'm asleep. Hoping to see star wars in Jan, more for MrMads benefit than mine as I'm not the biggest fan.... Might have a little sleep!

I would fall asleep at the pics if I didn't have pic n mix to eat. Even if I really want to see a film I'm watching, I would just sleep as its the comfy seats and the darkness apart from the bright film that's being shown I suppose

Kelly the last 007 film I saw (not the previous one to this, the one before that) I fell asleep. Got a dig in the ribs from my friend who asked if I was asleep and of course I lied and said no, but I had dozed off and did it again throughout the film. Went off 007 films after that and have to confess, Daniel Craig doesn't really float my boat.

Haha ilove that's what I do. I always deny I've been asleep when DH blatantly knows l have been.

Phew, day one of this week done! I know, I should be enjoying having the kids off school ... Shouldn't I?!? Anyone else's turned into the nightmares before Christmas?

We all had tea tonight but DD coughed a couple of times and was sick straight away again. I don't know if its normal for your stomach/gag reflexes to be that quick straight after coughing but must try and get an appt for her.

Oh dear Kelly, does she normally puke so easily?

I'm finally sitting down with the Radio Times and a highlighter. Completely forgot to get marzipan and icing for the cake today. My Christmas planning is a bit haphazard this year

kel mine are never sick either, but can be sick when they've been coughing a lot, and it's coz of the phlegm. Have you tried Vicks on their feet? Or a decongestant (not sure what you can give a littlie, mind?) xx

Haven't tried Vicks nickel but may do tonight, thanks. We're away over the holidays for a few days so would like her better by then. Shes fine at the moment, she's teaching a twin his numbers. Its only when she coughs.

You know what, phone calls from your spouse telling you what a great dinner he had and how he's off to the pub now are really not welcome in the middle of a very trying bed time routine
