Like it pix!!! LOL!!!

MaddieMoo82 · 04/12/2015 21:39

Yes pix brilliant Grin
Fairly dull evening now after the excitement of last night!
Where is CJ now? Is he still with rich?

BK28 · 04/12/2015 21:57

Yes Maddie in the final throes of Rich before being decanted north for Kelly.
Had to source a specific Audi so that she can re-enact her ff!!! The literature does describe the RS6 Avant 4.0TFSI Quattro as the epitome of power and agility, and in Panther Black it looks the part and after witnessing the prowess of BA last night I think it most appropriate for his alter ego CJ!!

MaddieMoo82 · 04/12/2015 21:59

Oh yes bk sounds perfect for CJ and kellys plans for him Blush

KellyHb · 04/12/2015 22:03

Evening ladies Smile

Had such a busy day!!! Had a school visit to go on, then had car trouble and had to go to the garage to sort out.

Went to DD's carol service in an old church this morning and it totally reminded me of the service from last night with it being carols and readings in an old church but that was the end of similarities I'm afraid. Although there is a seriously cute teacher at DD's school but not really a patch on BA. I was watching the pulpit imagining BA standing there looking mega cute.

Still so happy about last night and was so glad BA was so lovely. I keep looking at all the different pics and its CJ standing there!! Yes rhu exact same hairstyle so could it be for potential S2 readiness I wonder.

Hi painted (waves). Love your FF and was re-reading one the other week. Smile

mooj so glad you've come back to us and not fully decompressed.

rich how was CJ at your Xmas party? Is he ready to come to me in the morning? Hope he's got plenty of stamina left in him.

BK is the Audi ready for BA to get to me tomorrow? I've made myself all silky smooth in all the right places this evening and hope CJ will give me a spit and polish tomorrow to finish me off Wink

KellyHb · 04/12/2015 22:13

You're a star BK. Just reading the Audi model desription has made me need to have a lie down, thinking of CJ stretched out inside getting all sweaty...Shock

Informed DH he's not going to get any attention paid to him over the next couple of days. Ha!

Ilovelblue · 04/12/2015 22:35

Evening all. Escaped from the team Christmas meal as early as possible. I don't mind work things as a rule (in moderation) but this lot were excruciating. I work for about 2/3 of the time on my own which suits me quite well but for administrative purposes such as appraisals, timesheets etc I am lumped in with a group of mainly youngish lads - early to mid 20s. There were a few women there but the lads were being very laddish and I just wasn't in the mood. It made me feel old!! As soon as decently possible (after the main course), I made an excuse to come home. I only went because they probably think I am a bit standoffish as I don't really need to interact with them very often.

Would rather spend time on here!!

MaddieMoo82 · 04/12/2015 22:43

Sounds like you came home at the right time ilove. I'm skipping the works Xmas do this year. Money is tight with maternity pay and Xmas and it is really expensive due to the venue. It's been held at the national marine aquarium, so cool that you are dining with the Sharks etc but too pricey and I'm out of the loop with all the department shenigans so happy to sit it out.

Ilovelblue · 04/12/2015 22:56

Maddie I've organised a lunchtime meal which anyone in the whole department could come to if they wanted. I think we have about 25 takers for next week. Lunchtime is much easier. Not many people drink, or only one if they do, because they have to drive home, and although nobody is clock watching because our managers come, it's not an all afternoon affair and is over in a suitable timescale. I probably sound bah humbug, but this lot tonight were just far too rowdy for me. The young lads had had a few before they came to the restaurant but shouting and bellowing across the table just isn't my way of enjoying an evening out.

BK28 · 04/12/2015 23:01

ilove that is the way we have gone now too.. since our team has been shrunk from 25 to 5 it is also more appropriate - we go to a nice country pub and can then pick meals which suit everyone's pockets.

pixieg1rl · 04/12/2015 23:13

We're struggling to garner interest in a lunchtime meal (that we pay for ourselves) Xmas dinner. Most of us are muttering that we've got too much work on to give up 2 hours having lunch. After the 2 principle organising people (both female) have left this year we've thrown down the gauntlet for the men in the department to organise something. One of them has promised to bake some flapjacks. Festive eh?

Oh good BK, I'm not the only one to find that kind of night out so inappropriate. On the way home, I enjoyed listening to my new Elvis Presley CD (it's been advertised quite a lot - a digitally remixed thing with the London Symphony Orchestra) and pondered on last night's carol concert! I think I was better off in my own little CJ bubble!

Hope you get CJ safely up to Kelly tomorrow as the weather's pretty rough here at the moment. He then needs to go to Jen for a few days before making his way south again. I think there's time for me and ice to entertain him as well. He may as well make a couple of stopovers en route!

MaddieMoo82 · 04/12/2015 23:17

He'll be exhausted by Xmas ilove even with his stamina!

Ilovelblue · 04/12/2015 23:19

He can rest over Christmas Maddie!

KellyHb · 04/12/2015 23:48

Its absolutely blowing a gale tonight here. Hope you get here safely with CJ tomorrow BK.

When does Jen have CJ ilove?

With me not working since I had DD, I do miss the works nights out we used to have. More so now because it's mostly the kids I talk to the most face to face. Sad

A group of rowdy lads shouting together, especially if theyve had a couple of pints can be grim. Ditto that you left at the right time I think ilove.

BK28 · 05/12/2015 00:07

ilove If you can put some dates to the next part of the itinerary would help with logistics planning! I would like to offer him some hospitality for the few days before Christmas - a small reward for all that driving, I can then pop him into Bath on Christmas Eve to see his Mummy!
With jen do I have to cope with the Forth Bridge closure?

Kel due to the distance it could be an early start and a late arrival, but don't worry the smoothing won't have gone to waste - although rich does seem to have gone silent at the mo, so hoping she hasn't absconded with him!!

Is the Elvis CD any good?

Richtea19 · 05/12/2015 02:29

CJ and I have just returned from a very drunken night out in Soho. BK are you ok to pick up in the morning ready for Kelly, he might need a snooze on the way!!!

pixieg1rl · 05/12/2015 07:43

Red wine and me are no longer friends....

Richtea19 · 05/12/2015 07:56

Late nights, wine, cocktails and me have fallen out too pixie ...

Onlygirljen · 05/12/2015 08:13

No need to worry about the forth road bridge for me bk, I'm in the west!!

Is the cd good ilove? I've bought it for my dad for Christmas (massive elvis fan) so hoping he likes it.

I've still got another couple of weeks until Christmas do, quite lucky in these times in that it's subsidised so we only pay £10 each, which covers meal and a free bar. It's in a castle that's been converted to a hotel this year, should be fun. If only I had CJ on the 18th I could have brought him along for the ride Grin

KellyHb · 05/12/2015 08:14

Morning all

How excited am I today for CJ coming in more ways than one

Sounds like you had a good night rich. Hope CJ isn't too hungover for the journey up. Hmm

icemistOBE · 05/12/2015 08:17

Morning

I'm not a big fan of Christmas work parties. Mine is on Thursday at a Marriot hotel in the city centre, we have to buy our own drinks although bosses are quite generous and last year I never spent a penny!

Tree is going up today, might stop the boys fighting for a few minutes

BK28 · 05/12/2015 08:54

rich sorry to have missed you this morning, CJ said to let you sleep in...must have been a hell of a night!!!
Now enroute to kel ... CJ is sleeping, actually in full blown fly catching mode complete with drool and snoring...not a pleasant sound! But it does show he is only human after all! Anyway I'll get my own back when he does the next leg of what is going to be a long drive. Thanks for choosing the Audi ...nice drive and the leather interior is the nuts!! Catch you later!

BK28 · 05/12/2015 09:03

kel just had a thought in your ff did you mean the passenger side or drivers footwell because did you forget to take the steering wheel into consideration... Don't want you to get injured in the reenactment!!! Grin

MaddieMoo82 · 05/12/2015 09:32

Don't worry bk I think kelly has thoroughly investigated this issue and selected the Audi accordingly Grin

Gale force winds here to and still no sign of Xmas preparation.... Eeek! Hmm
