Hi painted! Lovely to hear from you again. Thought you'd left us for pastures new.

I thought I would be jealous of everyone who has seen BA, but instead I can't stop smiling and being thrilled for you all. He sounds a really genuine guy. Because he'd kept such a low profile, I was beginning to wonder if he was a bit standoffish, but he certainly seemed to appreciate his fans last night!

Have to admit I was almost decompressing, until last night. So excited fornickel, wycombe ice and everyone else who was lucky!

mooj it's probably the best reception he's ever had! Women throwing themselves at his feet!

Off on a work Christmas do tonight which I am not looking forward to particularly but felt obliged to take part in. Will be making a hasty retreat after the meal if I have anything to do with it.

It's always good to know though painted that there is somewhere to go to when RL needs escaping from!! Although as MrBK would say a bit of escaping is OK as long as RL doesn't stop, usually meaning he would like me to do some house worky stuff etc!!

I think we've all had our little decompressions mooj, but as painted has found out this place is like Hotel California; you can check out, but you can't leave. Mwah-mwah-ha.

Oh you lucky people! I know that was the catchphrase of some old comedian (Woof is bound to know it) but it fits with the sort of retro nostalgic feel of you all finally getting to go to the Carol concert the way you wanted to last year and have everything turn out just as you hoped.

Thanks for sharing the pictures, video and info everyone. I'm glad you had a good time and glad that it was all in a good cause. Did anyone think that BA's hair looked suitably cropped for a possible reprise of his role or was it just the angle of the photo?

Oh yes ice luckily I had the Dutch courage cocktails still swimming around my bloodstream have a pic to treasure and a little message on my order of service .....swoon giggle grin

Been awol for a while - still reading but not posting. Very busy RL, and my iPad had become virtually unusable so I treated myself to a new one on cyber Monday and I'm back in business!

So excited for all you lovely ladies who were at the carol service yesterday. I live in London and could have gone but that would have blown the cover on my secret guilty pleasure and anyway I would have been a gibbering wreck! I'm glad BA was the opposite of disappointing. Perhaps the lines between BA and CJ have blurred a little?

Funnily enough I had to go to a seminar in Marylebone last Thursday (a very rare event for me) and I found myself sitting in front of a total BA double. He even had the same posh boy voice, it was very distracting! But hardly worth mentioning now . If only it could have been this Thursday I could have found an excuse to be late back and gone to the carol service.

We Went to Bath to see DD last weekend. Glad Molly didn't have to go halves on a travelodge, they were charging £199 for Saturday night. Luckily we managed to find a lovely b&b for less than half that!

Don't forget always, she did have £14K deployment money, so could have probably gone halves on the Travelodge, even at those prices!
