Rhubarb just finished your story. What a lovely ending. My parents were married in 1952 and my Mum's dress was bought with clothing coupons. I think clothing rationing finished shortly afterwards, I seem to recall her saying. Hard to believe that a full 7 years passed since the war finished and certain things were still on ration.

Apologies ice if CJ woke you early the other morn. For once we didn't have any arguments about the driving, the poor dear was so exhausted after his stay with the woof that he slept all the way, but at least he was primed for you!!
Probably a mid afternoon delivery Maddie all these gales may slow down arrival - will be looking at using the old landrover again in case of heavy waterlogging enroute! Was it you or Kelly who were getting excited about the Audi? Just need to check so that he doesn't disappoint!!

So you'll be 'WAITING OUT' (a favourite OG phrase) for the second season of Outlander, Snowstorm. At least you know who's playing the hero!We're still all agitating to get our Captain, preferably with his shirt off quite often, back in the cast of the second series.

I agree with you about Jamie...lovely! And they're rather more upfront about getting it on than Captain James and Molly....

Hi snowstorm. I have looked at some saucy clips of Jamie and Claire and it rather piqued my interest. Tobias Menzies is in it too I think for a few episodes and he is yummy!

Yup, Jamie and Claire are totally upfront at getting it on kuiakaituhi - thank god the series hadn't downloaded properly to my iPad for my train journey last week - I'd have been blushing like a tomato at the action (hadn't realised it had an 18 rating). Yes - at least I know Jamie's in the next series - not sure when it comes out. I'm not sure about the actor's hair past episode one or two but he's very buff (shallow) and has a lovely deep voice/Scottish accent

So your programme may not have your Captain Jack in then ... ooh dear - tense stuff. Will you still watch it without him?

Tobias, my dear Kelly,is something else in this series! Delights that I think would cause even our worldly wise CJ to blush...or scratch his head as he usually does when he's a bit taken aback!!' Tobias has his shirt off... and his dacks,... quite a lot,as do Jamie and Claire, at every possible opportunity, if I remember it well...and I do!
I remember also thinking it was supposed to be pretty cold in the Highlands for so much bare skin but they do heaps of energetic exercise.
I'm surprised thatWoof hasn't been an enthusiast for 'Outlander" yet. Would be right up her alley, so to speak.
You really do need to further your education,Kelly. I recommend this lot; very educational.

Frustrating morning here, I'm locked out of my work's network (working from home), and despite reporting it over 2 hours ago I haven't even had a phone call. I've got a few hours work I can do offline, but when that runs out I've got nothing to do, forcing me to work this evening when it's up and running (I hope) or to take time off work.

MrP is away all week so I have to work shorter hours to cover the days he takes up the childcare slack, plus an inset day has put me about a third of my hours down already this week before this spanner.

Hope you get things sorted pixie must be frustrating.

Think I might just stay in CJ world as r/l is poop today - the dog has diarrhoea, the microwave just blew up and my normally flexible boss is the less than enthusiastic about my return to work plan!

Maddie now enroute to you... not sure what the previous ladies have been doing to the poor Captain, but it's another morning of no fighting over the driving!! Just letting him snooze to some of the more gentle tracks from Dirty Dancing!! but rest assured I will have him up and alert for his arrival with you. The weather is making driving quite difficult so am taking it steady!! Mid afternoon ETA.b

I used to think when you had a job where you could work from home, would be the best kind but I suppose it's not always the case. Hope you can have a relaxing gin later pix.

Nipped into Toys r Us, did a bit shopping but when it came to pay, the queue was absolutely ridiculous. It was nearly out the door and I had visions of me just dumping the stuff I'd picked up in case I was late picking the boys up. Luckily the queue went down steadily after a while

kuia I was thinking of buying Outlander S1 on DVD or putting it on my Christmas list. Yes I only wished CJ and Molly had a bit that sauciness that Jamie and Claire have plenty of.

My approach to that pix is if they can't give me the machinery to do the job is it my fault that I had to twiddle my thumbs for the rest of my working time! I then get on and tackle things like putting the washing on, bit of day time TV, maybe a repeat play of a certain fav TV serial etc. Certainly don't make the time up!! Oh does that sound really like I am not conscientious .. honest I am!!

Had to pop into Bath yesterday to do some shopping - must say every time I walk up Milsom Street _the posh end shops - I do this looking out thing in case I bump into them! Anyway we saw Alan Davies last night, and he talked about how he uses Mumsnet as his fount of knowledge for all things to do with little people, he has 3 - just wondered what else he lurked over while getting advice - certainly made me chuckle!!

Totally off subject but If anyone wants a free hello fresh box (worth £39) with 3 meals let me know. I have got 3 X gifts cards for a free box. We get one every now and then when they are half price and they are quite good for quick meals with a bit of variety

It is Kelly, I have no idea about the actress, I watched EE for years.

I forgot how much I liked the one off, Dave is a really interesting (and in places horrible) character.

I'm really going to miss the Dawes family in S2. Unless we have a sneaky wedding cameo scene if BA's in it.
