Good question, aren't they supposed to be still living with Nik? Given Carla virtual moved in with him not sure when they are supposed to fit.

Or Sarah new baby and teenage from hell supposed be sharing room at David's still?

Trying think of Sarah post baby crisis- will baby have rare disease need donar? Will she be eaten away with guilt and have PND?

Were they living with Audrey at one point or am I imagining that?

I think they stayed with Audrey while the flats were being sorted out after the fire. I was under the impression that Nick and Carla were using her flat. How pregnant is Sarah now?

Sarah will probably have a dramatic birth and return to life and work as if nothing happened and an invisible person will look after her baby because it will never be in any scenes after its born.

The Forgotten Children of Corrie: Jake, Liam, Jack, Ruby, Simon. Not forgetting Faye's baby Miley who was unrealistically taken to Canada forever by her paternal grandparents with Tim and Anna not even putting up a fight.

Half wondered if would do a mum-daughter pregnant at same time story. Bethany is supposed to be clever even if the most stroppy teenage around. She should walk exams and go to uni but then she woulnt be at factory or shop for rest of her life then.

Why did Anna turn into a quivering heap when she saw Phelan? Surely she would turn on him in a rage,and start plotting revenge? It was out of character,and instead we get another silly blackmail story.

I presume the police are going to run Tracy's name through the Deadly Killers Database.

Nick rushing out of the hospital room, 'Johnny, get in here'. How ridiculous. Why would he not just open the door, and say to Johnny 'will you bring Roy to the train'... Rubbish.

Because the current producers do not hold the writing teams to the right standard. And we have a series of splashy (often illl-conceived and poorly executed) incidents, and any attempt at plausible characterisation has been lost. Regard for the characters' past and formative incidents therein has been out of the window for some time.

I'm just hoping the level of damage does not increase too much over the coming weeks, and that all the unpopular changes and the style of the last while wil, be swiftly reversed.

Guessing bistro is open till 11-12pm so staff would finish after that. So at 7pm they still would feel like had the day off with 5h to play with.

The power outage happened at 12 noon. Nick was giving out, saying he had eighteen booked in for lunch.
So the staff had the day off, but were still in the pub, apparently many hours later, before Steph and Andy left, to go ice skating.

I'm not watching until the new writing team are in place. Eastenders is far better at the moment and corrie is just inconsistent and boring. Not worth the precious hours I have to myself!

I agree My Beloved. The writing feels pretty amateur right now. They begin a storyline only to abandon it, characters go missing for months with no explanation and new characters get storylines we don't care about.

This Phelan storyline is beyond ridiculous and taken Corrie to a whole new low. Can't wait for the new producer and hopefully new script writers to start making a difference. Wonder how long before we start seeing an improvement, there's a hell of a lot of mess to sort out!

Phelan and Owen were involved in a building project that all went sour, and creative accounting meant Phelan was sitting pretty and Owen lost everything. Some of Gary's impetuosity cost the household further. They were seriously, seriously broke.

I read an interview a few months ago with Kate Oates in Inside Soap and she said she's on holiday this month and starts her new job in February.

Didn't Gary hit Phelan as well and Phelan was going to charge him with assault?

And they still lost all their money anyway!

I thought Anna consented so he's not really done that much to her? I know she didn't want to but she did agree.

She was desperate though. And lost her home and relationship even though she 'agreed'. Horrible storyline.

Of all the characters they could dig up, Phelan must have been at the top of the "lets not" tree surely?

Oh and when Gary booked into Izzy, surely his first words would have been " how's Jake?"
