Robert read a CBeebies bed time story last week, I was most perturbed to find that the hair is real and not simply a toupe used by his character

I've also been wondering how Simon coped with Christmas - he never got a mention That's poor on the part of the scriptwriters.

Liz and Phelan???

Isn't it Liz & Johnny? I reckon Phelan will end up having something to do with the building work somehow. Kev got a cheaper quote than Jason didn't he? Perhaps it's from Phelan?

Well, now it's time to fast forward over Kevanna, as Phelan is unwatchable. Why on earth did anyone ever think it was a good idea to bring him back.

I have now reached the point of zero interest in any story line.

New writing team isn't in until March? Anyone know for sure.

Yes, Liz looked like she wanted to pounce on Phelan, last night.

I've clearly missed an episode I didn't think it was on because of the NTA's

How selfish is Anna? She rings a wheelchair using mother, who has to get an instant baby-sitter(from where?), so that she can have a chat about Phelan. Why couldn't Anna visit Lizzie? Surely Faye is old enough to be left for a while. And 'Gary is away'. Where? Doing what? Learning how to run a gym?

Another badly done story. Anna sinking to the ground crying, yes, understandable, and with a decent script, this would be played out properly, and I can well believe Debbie Rush is more than capable of carrying a proper storyline, given the chance.
Instead she will, no doubt, be back chopping carrots, at home, and making sandwiches (after pawing at her hair) in Roy's.
We will probably have weeks of Kevin almost finding out - Phelan actually said to him that he and Anna had history - but then told Anna not to make trouble for him... I'm tired of the story already.

Same here - relying parasitically on this thread to learn if ever when its worth watching again.

I'm just sticking with it in the hopes that it will one day improve...

Another one hoping thins thread will let me know when to bother watching again... I don't care about one single story line at the moment.

Phelan's return only would have worked if he'd come back, given Anna the 80k he embezzled and fucked off again.

I really cannot bear to watch another menacing Phelan/scared Anna/scenario. They flogged it to death first time round. And I really can't watch a long drawn out "will Kevin learn the truth?" storyline. Dullsville. And Liz was already halfway up the stairs in her maribou negligee before she learned his name.

Was Phelan just conveniently passing by, or how did he know where Anna lived...I think she and Owen were still living in their house, when Phelan disappeared.

That's me done with watching all the episodes till the new producer takes over I think. I can't bear the Phelan business, the story was nonsensical last time and bringing him back just to pile more agony on is tedious. The Anna and Kev thing is really laughable too. Who makes big announcements that they are together and serious after 2 dates?

Let's look at the current storylines:

Carla in hospital
Tracey knows about them shagging
Hope is ill or better, can't remember, I put the kettle on.
Phelan's back- will Kevin find out etc yawn
Sophie has a new clipboard, or maybe not.
Mary's seeing a married man.

Have I left any out? They all bore me.

Gail wants underfloor heating!

Why didn't Izzie just bring Jake with her? He's only about two isn't he?

It's boring me to death atm! I must have missed why the connor's Mum is dead because of whatever his name is, Jonny?

I think Connor's Mum found out about Johnny's affair and ran out of the house and got run over.

Supposed to be more stories line with Alex did think giving suster had affair with her husband he could be Alex's dad? Which make him her nephew and step son?

Sally running for counsellor could be funny but guess that could run for years!

Hope Liz can be single for awhile no need to be constantly going from one long term this is it relationship to another. The only other person who's been single for ages is tod.
