They should have a competition for OG fans, and ask obscure questions so that you have to prove you are genuine, of course, we would all be brilliant! How about CJs inside leg leg measurement, whose naked backside can you see in the program (littlies favourite scene!), what does SZS stand for (spo, still waiting out for the next installment), etc.

KellyHb · 22/07/2015 21:51

Good idea nickel and the winner gets a free stay at Bailbrook. Smile

LolaKent14 · 22/07/2015 21:53

Kelly will that stay include CJ???

KellyHb · 22/07/2015 22:10

Hell yeah Lola Grin

Nickel45 · 22/07/2015 22:15

Oh yes kel forgot that crucial bit of info, was so excited at the prospect!

KellyHb · 22/07/2015 22:18

Shame on me. How could I forget CJ! Call myself an OG fan?! Confused

Nickel45 · 22/07/2015 23:17

I'm so far behind on ff (flippin' RL) but had to read yours whaj, brilliant, awesome, loved it ... What more can I say ... Wow!! Is it really a one shot ... Or can we have some more? Please? Pretty lease with cherries on top? :)

KellyHb · 22/07/2015 23:59

Ditto nickel what a fantastic one shot. So so good whajeb. I love the piggyback part. Smile

Ilovelblue · 23/07/2015 08:25

Looks as if I've lots of catching up to do on here. Fortunately not in work today as I knew we'd be late back last night so booked today off. Have a friend coming up from Manchester around lunchtime but have told her we'll have to eat out for once. She doesn't always appreciate you've gone out of your way to make a nice meal (I don't think she's very into food) so I don't always feel very enthusiastic about cooking for her anyway.

Had a lovely day at Tatton yesterday. We were there from opening time until nearly throwing out time so we had good value for money out of our tickets. If anyone is a fan of Gardener's World, we saw Monty Don, Carol Klein and Joe Swift and Carol Klein came into our restaurant in the evening with a team of toy boys (presume they were her film crew). Will post a few pictures in a bit but need to take the cat to the vet for his injection and want to be first in the queue.

Back later.

Sky show?!?! How did I miss this?

icemistOBE · 23/07/2015 09:13

Lucky Man- he's playing a detective but don't know how many eps he's actually in. Janes Nesbitt has the lead role.

And there is the Fleabag thing too for c4 but no date in when that will be on.

Bonjour à tous les amoureux du beau capitaine!

My tan is coming along nicely, offset delightfully by the blistering mozzie bites on my arms and legs. Doesn't matter what repellent I use, I always end up looking like a pox victim. Rupert's been most diligent though in applying soothing cream and kissing it all better though I wasn't aware the mosquitoes had ventured quite that far

Tatton sounds as if it was fun ilove. Was Monty wearing his shapeless faded blue French artisan jacket? I always wonder if he orders them from a specialist catalogue!

whaj I'm adding my plea to the doubtless very long list of implorers begging you to continue the one shot. It was simply brilliant and I would love to see how you'd develop it.

My nature spotting skills are in top form out here. A red squirrel ran across the road and I excitedly pointed out 'Look a chipmunk!' Confused However, I did make up for it slightly when I alerted dp to a peregrine falcon circling just above us on the terrace. Well, I said 'What's that?' and he identified it...

pixieg1rl · 23/07/2015 09:48

A bloody big deer ran in front of the car yesterday orphan and the first thing MrP and I shouted was 'impala!', never mind being on the wrong continent. That's what happens when you have 2 safari guides in the family.

Glad to hear Tatton was good ilove. My friend spent her day down at Wisley, so I have serious envy going on here, being stuck in the office.

I will add my voice to the praise of whajeb's latest. It was brilliant, and it would fantastic to have it continued.

In less great news we found out yesterday that MrP's mum has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She's in for surgery in her bile duct today as she's seriously jaundiced, but beyond that we don't know anything more.

Dizzydots · 23/07/2015 09:50

Glad you're having a good holiday orphan, any delectable captains spotted yet? Careful Rup doesn't puncture your lilo! Thanks for the pics ice, just look at the expression on the second one - stomach turning indeed. Yum yum. Look forward to some pics ilove would love to go to the Tatton show some day, I love my gardening but July is always a barren month here, early summer flowers over and later ones still developing.

Dizzydots · 23/07/2015 09:53

Impala are so pretty pixie wouldn't it be lovely to have them roaming here. So sorry to read about your MIL, sending wishes to her and virtual hugs to you (( )) X

KellyHb · 23/07/2015 12:11

Afternoon.

So sorry to hear your bad news pix. It is frightening but you get through it. Believe me. Big hugs Flowers

ice is BA still filming Lucky Man? Second pic is indeed yummy! Its BAs friends birthday today so wonder if we'll see any new pics of him? It seems a barren BA desert at the moment.

pixieg1rl · 23/07/2015 12:42

Warning to you all I'm beta testing the new MN app so my posts may be even more nonsensical than usual a bit strange. So far it's pretty cool, I can see and post photos and do bold, strikeout etc.

pixieg1rl · 23/07/2015 13:45

I'm doing a bit of research on postings to Cyprus - this made me laugh

Fridge freezer

As above. All quarters are issued with an adequate fridge/freezer but bring your own if only to be used as a drinks fridge.

someone in the MOD has got their priorities right!

Nickel45 · 23/07/2015 14:04

pixie sorry to hear about your MIL. I hope you and DH are doing OK?
That's brilliant about the fridges :) so funny!!

Being in work today, I have finally caught up with the ff. Kel, Dance and Lola ... Big THANK YOU! Kel - good one shot, you never know if TG is reading this! Dance - love it when you go on the smutty side :), Lola - brilliant ending, so sad it's finished, but absolutely love how you pulled everything together and ended with the "door scene". Amazing!

moojangles · 23/07/2015 14:13

pixie, sorry to hear about your MIL, hugs to you and MrP.

Ah, MOD logic...

pixieg1rl · 23/07/2015 14:24

I'm loving this MOD guidance mooj - bring a fridge for drinks, lots of swimming costumes, buy a BBQ on the island, hire a gardener, bring stuff for skiing. The illustrations of 'typical' accommodation are bogging!

icemistOBE · 23/07/2015 14:36

Are are they stilled barred from going to Ayia Napa?

OP posts:
pixieg1rl · 23/07/2015 14:43

With the delights of the St Andrews Coffee Pot and the base's very own craft workshop, I can't see how anyone would want to go go to Ayia Nappa ice.
