Series 2... filming starts Jan 2016

Ah yes mooj that's where woof and I went wrong. We chased the gendarmes crying 'Baise moi! Baise moi!' then got a bit more than we were expecting...[blush ]

Evening. Been to late night gym as I can't go during the day in the holidays. But made the error of having tea before I went so didn't have a whole lot of energy.

Love dances new chapter. I think her and Jen are sitting high on their queens of qs thrones.

I am late to the party again tonight. Internet connection had given up the ghost but I'd tried all sorts of things (including deleting God knows what) before realising what it was. I must have deleted all my passwords and couldn't recall what my MN password was so had to log in via Google and had forgotten that password too. Thankfully I had written that one down!! Now trying to catch up plus making a cake for tomorrow's picnic at Tatton and getting my clothes ready (we always eat in Knutsford in an evening after the flower show).

Who mentioned Beziers earlier? That takes me back to when I lived in Montpellier for 6 months years ago. All the trains either went to Beziers or Narbonne. We always used to laugh about Narbonne - no idea why now but it was over 30 years ago.

Looks as if there's some great ff to read in bed but first of all I have to iron some trousers for tomorrow.

Kelly I meant to say you should complain about the nursery leaving your boy in wet trousers and possibly more. Absolutely not acceptable.

Well, MrP is finally back from his work trip and has suggested that he could do the nursery run tomorrow for the first time in 4 months. Not quite up to the romantic reunion that Kelly treated us to, but luckily for him I have very low standards.

I know pix. Had no problems with nursery so far but today was bad.

kelly I think that requires a definite conversation with the nursery... The mgt need to be made aware that you noticed and aren't happy!

Morning

1st real day of school hols. Was going to go to the biggest park near us- take a picnic etc but just checked weather and to rain later. So need to think of something else. On the plus side we weren't awake till just after 7.

ice I was listening to the radio yesterday and they came up with all these idea what do with kids on hols when weather not so good, think the popular one was the library, not sure my boys would be that keen! But baking was always a popular with them, lot of mess but always some good biscuits to eat!! My problem now is get them out of bed and then off the Xbox!

I'm lucky that DS is still of an age where he thinks going to the library is an enormous treat. Long may it last. (((Free stuff)))

Oh in Sainsburys this morning, I saw they're doing a small range of combat shirts for women with black diamontes on the collars. Not quite sure I would wear them.

I remember one wet afternoon in the holidays getting a large cardboard box and spending the afternoon with the kids converting it into a car with paper plate wheels and sticking paper on it for the lights, making a number plate and improvising a steering wheel, cutting out a door and putting a little seat inside as well as letting them colour all over the box. They loved it and spent ages making up games driving their cardboard car. (I have to admit that we always kept a lot of art and craft stuff in the house - still got most of it as we love a little dabble, so that helped) If you can bear a bit of mess for a while it's amazing what will entertain them. They still remember that - I obviously didn't do that a lot.

Another one is playdough - I used to make my own with plain flour, salt, veg oil, cream of tartar and food colouring - you have to make it in a large saucepan and heat it up (If anyone wants the details let me know) but it kept them amused for hours and you can keep it in the fridge for a long time and re-use. Mind you, I used to make it for the Twins Club as well - mmh, when you have spent an hour picking pink dough out of a carpet with your fingernails after a toddler has walked it all over the place attached to their shoe you realise it has to be used in a hard floor area!

Wow rhu check you out! Im seriously impressed about the car. Things I wouldn't think of doing. With kids, I haven't got much of an imagination. Although I have done the picking play dough out of carpet many a time.

We bought some patio furniture a few weeks ago. I had visions of turning it and various bits of cardboard tubing into a castle and playmat. It ended up with DS and the neighbours kids randomly splatting paint all over it (and the garden, our grass was blue for a while) and making a right mess. Me and neighbour were sat in the garden chatting for hours as the kids entertained themselves.

I should clarify, I was talking about the box the furniture came in, not the new furniture. MrP would have gone batshit crazy if they had got paint on that.

pix, that's so funny ... I read that as being paint all over the furniture! You are a creative genius! Any chance of you coming down here and helping me out for the holiday club next year?!?!

Been a bit crazy lately, and yesterday I tried to post in essex-franglais, but my phone refused to post it (probably just as well!!).

My two are off school now, but I am in work for two days, so my parents have the kids. Feels like a "normal" week ... lovely :)

I am looking forward to spending time with them (honest!), but happy to delay it a little longer!

Well I don't know what's up with BBC2 at the moment but I like it. There's going to be a Georgian period sex filled drama starting next month called The Scandalous Lady W. Goodie gumdrops

Bailbrook House sent a tweet earlier saying do we think Molly and CJ will be going back in Series 2 and TG favourited it and retweeted it. I'm gonna hope that means he may be thinking of doing a cameo scene or two with Molly! See what happens.
