Yes, the first three books of Flambards were serialised on tv richtea. Very popular I think but I don't know what happened to any of the actors. The fourth book wasn't written until about 10 years later than the previous ones and basically overturned the happy ending of the third book.

ilove hope today's a better one for you. Not surprised you refused the offer to become a video star. Probably wasn't quite the scenario you'd imagined for your first foray into movies!!

No plans here for half term although we do have a wedding next Sat. We're all going so should be fun

I love that photo too Painted. Wouldn't have minded that version of CJ in the surgery yesterday with me. What made it worse than almost becoming an unwilling porn star was the fact I was probably twice her age!

Meeting my cousin tomorrow. We meet halfway between our rwo houses and as she's a keen gardener too, we usually have some plants to swap as well.

Have a fab time nickel. Gorgeous sunny morning here although rain is forecast later. I've just been on garden inspection and can report I have 3 alliums and a possible death of pigeon by a sparrowhawk. There are only feathers, no body at all and dp spotted the sparrowhawk on our shed earlier...

Good news on the home front though - littlest got his cast off yesterday. Healing beautifully after only a week and a bit, phew . Amazing how resilient and fast to heal they are at that age!

woof I assume you're off on one of your 'specialist' breaks? Have a wonderful time enjoying activities with like minded people, but remember you're not quite as supple as in your gymnast days. A good chiropractor might be hard to come by on a bank holiday weekend.

Yipee to that Ice sounds good. Although if it is good I'm gonna say only 5 episodes! Of course, if it's pants we might be grateful. I don't suppose BA would mind being cast in the role of a services type person with a dodgy accent and in a love triangle. No risk of typecasting, there. Bet they get an american for the role, though.

I suppose I was thinking of Richard Armitage's dodgy, slipping accent in that film he did last summer. I suppose we could always offer our services as voice coaches if necessary - that would give him a full range of UK accents.

Fab update rhubarb as per usual. Your writing and plotting are just so assured. I can't remember, but did you say you'd never really written before?

Thanks for that lovely picture painted just what was needed as have now been signed off by the Doc for stress related issues... not sure if spending half my time on here has caused some of that though!! Now have two weeks to try and sort out my life... so I'm starting with going off to Cub Camp for the weekend. Sorry can't offer any shots of the loaded hatchback a la nickel as we have a huge trailer which is very packed!!

Will be spending the weekend doing some activities that CJ would have been very handy for - backwoods cooking, pioneering (lots of ropes), orienteering...etc

Just caught up with the real lives on Fan fic...dance glad you have raised the steam level - just what was needed - plus total dominance!! A few more chapters of that will be gratefully received!!

Thanks rhub and whajeb download rereads will keep me going over the W/E with no wifi -- loving both of those story lines!!

BK sorry to hear of your health problems. Two weeks away from work should help as will our great ff. It's a great tonic and completely free! I hope chauffeuring CJ around hasn't added to your stress levels. xx
