I don't want to spoil your fun (and it would be great if he was casting) but I think he's referring to the saying 'ne'er cast a clout till May be out'

I know casting the clouts is an expression but I can't help thinking TG has said that just to keep to us a bit excited and speculating. Unfortunately, I can''t imagine they'd be casting before announcing a re-commissioning. However, I could be wrong. What do I know about it?

I think TG is a very clever man - he knows what gets everybody excited and speculating. Fingers crossed!

Painted when I saw the "diagram" you'd posted, I had to close the screen pdq. I thought you were going to issue a health warning in case any of us in an office were on here!

I am of the very humble opinion that if he didn't want us to keep guessing because there IS something in the offing, he wouldn't post these cryptic little messages. He did something a while ago that made us wonder - was it when he was posting CJ/MD pictures on a Sunday night fairly recently even though it was being shown in Australia on a Thursday?

I think there is still some possibility of a new series. The fact that the official line on the show is 'No decision' suggests that it is resting on other factors of the sort we've speculated about before.

Painted is it just an illusion/fancy of mine or does the 'gentleman' in your picture have heart shaped tatoos on his forearms?

I will post a warning in advance that I plan to also be "seeking assistance" tomorrow given this morning was such fun just need to assess my "position" for Tuesday....I can feel one for every day of the week coming on well at least until jen posts the next instalment of her inspiring story x

Given the unplanned interruption from my boss last week, I daren't respond to this when there were people around!

Jen that picture reminded me of something that happened in my office years ago when I was working for a massive company (a household name one with over 7,000 employees in the area). I was a secretary at the time. One of the other managers had been having a not-so-secret affair with his secretary for years. Everyone pretended not to know what was happening but would snigger behind their backs. One lunchtime, somebody walked into her office (she guarded his inner office [no euphemism] and very few people got past her) and she was sitting with a very enigmatic smile on her face like the Mona Lisa. Disturbed from his playtime, the manager scrambled to his feet from UNDER the desk, knocking his head as he did so. Their cover was totally blown after that. The story got round both sites like wildfire.

Not too bad painted, got the boring domestics covered, although I lost a fair bit of the morning to the 2yo deciding to lie rigidly on the floor of tesco and stage a sit in instead of help me do the shopping . Could have done without that! Otherwise, a grand day!

ilove that's hilarious and you've reminded me of one of my (many) worst ever working moments. When I was a skint student, I used to work behind the bar in a nightclub. It was the pits but the tips were good as the place was packed with footballers most weekends. One fairly quiet night I was serving a guy who really looked like he was having a funny turn - he had ordered a drink but was making the weirdest facial expressions. He kept looking down, and I stupidly looked over the bar to discover a girl on her knees in front of him. And let's just say she wasn't admiring the sticky floor!! I didn't live that one down for a long time!!!

Brilliant ending woof. Sat here giggling and getting strange looks. Can't help thinking there will be plenty more material for a sequel before long! Nice to see the Musketeers getting a bit of the action. Poor old Porthos. Never mind some of the ladies on the Musketeers thread like him - he'll have to mooch over there for company.

I know we think we're all a bit crazy but I just popped over to read some of the thread on Loo Etiquette - just because it caught my eye at the top of the page - and I have been laughing my head off at two hundred plus posts on the do's and don'ts of toilet cleaning, using or not using toilet brushes and etiquette in other people's houses. It is a very emotive subject apparently and some people getting quite worked up. I will never worry about this thread again - sophisticated - definitely!

I went off in search of the toilet etiquette thread rhu but got distracted by a 'I found photos of my husband in a jacuzzi with another woman, is he having an affair?' (Highly likely) thread and another one on vaginal dryness.

Rhubarb out of curiosity, I've just read that same thread. Well, I read the first couple of pages, I got a bit bored after that. It does indeed make our musings seem ultra-sophisticated. Sophisticated silliness is too mundane a title for us when you compare it with toilet cleaning!
