I see woof elected to dress from her most ladylike wardrobe for the wedding. Disappointing lack of leotard with reinforced gusset.

Sadly no, MIL chose that very day to do Christmas Day, so watched on tv, DH gutted not to go!

richtea, I hope things are all OK. Mine are too young at the moment, thankfully, to know about drugs, but am dreading it. Although when they see someone smoking they do say, very loudly usually "why is that man/woman smoking, doesn't he know it will kill him?"!!! So something I said has gone in!!!! I am very impressed he admitted to you though, pretty sure I wouldn't have done at that age, but I was such a wuss I didn't try anything. Lots of other things I didn't admit to though!! Mind, I think back then in the dark ages, drugs weren't as readily available, at least I didn't know how to get any!! I think I must have led a very sheltered life in my pre-Uni years!!

rich my lad not old enough for the drugs thing but it's not that far away. Agree with other comments that the fact he was honest counts for a lot. Hope you get it resolved though.

God help me ladies, I think I have finally flipped.

I was out on a shopping trip in Wilmslow today with my neighbour. We were in a pub for lunch and I excused myself to nip to the ladies. I realised there was a wedding party in the pub (they were all being taken to the wedding in an old bus which was outside in the car park) and on my way back to the table saw a man in full Scottish kilt etc. I instantly thought of ice at the wedding with CJ and heaven forbid - I looked at the woman he was with thinking it could be ice herself. What has got into me???????????? Kilt man didn't even look like CJ and was probably in his 60s. I have seriously, seroiusly lost the plot.

Richtea really feel for you. At his age, I would have considered paracetemol drugs. It's so much more difficult for youngsters these days than it was for us. Hope you sort it out quickly. xx

Yep that chair's woof. Lack of matching cushions (my signature soft furnishings) is a dead giveaway. Glad you managed to get a pic of her other wedding attire pixie. You can see she's maintained her gymnast's physique. Her roly polys in the floor routine were legendary.

Yes I was at Wembley nickel and just about getting over the trauma! Football can be so cruel but pleased there are some happy shrimpers fans around here!

Back home. Hubby asleep .... And in my fantasy world CJ just changed into his low slung combats. He knows what pleases a woman I might be some time... Talk tomorrow

Morning all. Tipping it down here so a perfect chance to re-read Kinship from start to finish. Whajeb I cried almost as much second time round as the first at the ending. It is such a beautiful story.
