frustration started early in the BK household ilove tablet decided to power down mid post - just managed to get it recharged to find that I'm 30 posts behind!!
So just returned from packing up lots of now dry tents and now catching up with that mound of ironing!!

ice sticks are good once we get them into Cubs we teach them how to tie them together. Then as Mums we can complain not only about the need for sticks, but also about the bits of string now tied around things, even now my DS seems to permanently have a piece of string in his pockets... for what I know not!!
Hope you are all having a great day!! Smile

BK28 · 25/05/2015 15:19

jen fantastic treat for a B/H afternoon - it is a bit grey and overcast so don't need an excuse to be sitting reading!!

pixieg1rl · 25/05/2015 15:28

I hope you are having a relaxing time BK, it sounds like you need a good chunk of time to concentrate on yourself, I hope the break from work will provide some of that.

Onlygirljen · 25/05/2015 15:33

Exactly what pixie said ^. Take care of yourself BK (glad you enjoyed Molly's torture!). X

cjwoofwoof · 25/05/2015 15:45

Just thinking how much furniture I'd get through if CJ was the boss and AT the line manager. Think I'd do plenty of volunteering for tea towel washing duties in the basement laundrette or leather balsaming the boardroom swivel chairs...

cjwoofwoof · 25/05/2015 15:51

Pixie hope you're having a drink tonight as a Bank Holiday treat - could do with some more entertainment.

BK relax and enjoy the rest of the day. I've got some leftover Betamax videos of orphan in "1000 Ways to Pube-plait and Other Interesting Coiffures" that weren't confiscated by Azerbaijan customs back in 1983 if you're interested

Rhubarb01 · 25/05/2015 16:45

Phew! Just back after some pretty substantial bush trimming! DH very busy with the power tool and I was on fine pruning. Golly, four car loads deposited at the local tip and still only half the job done. My goodness that is one out of control bush!

BK28 · 25/05/2015 17:09

woof with all the discussion on here about bush clearance, I think I'll pass on the offer of the Betamax for tonight, but if desperation kicks in I know who to come too!! Thanks for making me smile!!

Thanks for all your kind comments.. that is what makes being on here so great.. the camaraderie and care!! Oh and not fogetting the gentle lunacy!!

Richtea19 · 25/05/2015 17:48

Sounds like everyone has been having a good bank holiday. My DSs still collect sticks, I just have to stop them from wacking each other with them. I'm prone to collecting drift wood for the patio, DH moans like mad, more clutter.

pixie love your drunk posts, and so impressed you have decent snacks in thr house. I usually find the odd piece of cooking chocolate.

No bush trimming for us today, so we took a trip out for a mouch around an antique/junk barn place. Picked up a couple of old galvanised buckets and watering can for the garden....more clutter! Then a lovely pub lunch and visited the village where The Holiday film was filmed. Very pretty.

Jen looking forward to a good FF read now with a cuppa...or should that be a G&T, it's almost 6pm :)

orphan · 25/05/2015 17:49

woof you forgot to mention my other dvd. When I said I was the Rapunzel of the nether regions, I was of course referring to my role in the now sought after film 'Rapunzel - A Retelling'. The shock on the Prince's face when he calls up to me to let my hair down did not have to be feigned.

Alwaysfrank · 25/05/2015 18:09

Hello all - back for the first time in ages and seeking forgiveness for having fallen so badly behind - I've just read the whole of this thread but I'm afraid that I missed three quarters of the last one and that's the first time I've not read everything. Did I miss anything momentous? Did SPO come back to us, or did Icemist get her autograph?

It's been a combination of being away a few weekends, and busy being a cricket "mom" (hate that expression!) with three cricketing ds's all playing in different teams I've been averaging about 4 matches a week!

I am hugely excited for the ficsave intel - I think I have just ordered Jen's story to go to my Kindle. If it works I am going to be ridiculously excited! I followed the instructions kindly posted by rhubarb and I think I've done it right. I just couldn't see how to drag the personalised link to my bookmarks, the last step - so if anyone can help with that for future use I would be very grateful. You lot are the nuts!!

An OG fest on holiday would be fab, only 8 or 9 weeks to go.....

orphan · 25/05/2015 18:11

jen I'm really enjoying your story. Poor Molly will be in danger of spontaneous combustion soon...or is that me, I'm thinking of?!

Fingers crossed for warmer weather again as it brings out the possibility of sightings of forearms resting out of car windows, as you know a particular fetish favourite of mine coupled with rear endings naturally

I'm choking it down for you woof, as orphan said to Rupert

Rhubarb01 · 25/05/2015 18:51

Hope it worked always. I didn't go as far as trying to create the bookmarklet. I've only just caught up with bookmarks let alone going that far. Can't addle the brain too much.

cjwoofwoof · 25/05/2015 18:52

Woohoo go pix looking forward to the bants later. Hark at me getting down wiv tha kids Grin

orph I thought that Rapunzel vid was out of print thanks to the run on purchases at that last Boot Sale in Wigan? I thought we sold the whole six copies as a BOGOF with the cassettes of Freddy and the Dreamers Greatest Hits...

pixieg1rl · 25/05/2015 19:13

I have on good authority that 'da kidz' enjoy a cheeky olorosso woof

orphan · 25/05/2015 20:06

You're right about those vids woof, but I'm talking about the special edition ones. You know the ones with the 'Lady Godiva Retold' extras? In my version it's not Lady Godiva who's covered by her hair, but the horse she's riding. The bloopers reel shows the incredibly painful moment when my luxuriant nether region tresses got caught beneath the horse's hooves...

pixie so as to avoid any more unfortunate nut choking incidents, I am taking great care to put only one at a time in my mouth and not do my party trick of trying to catch them if thrown Rupert needed medical attention yet again after that particular manoeuvre

cjwoofwoof · 25/05/2015 20:19

Aah yes orph I remember the special edition ones now; we had a whole Lidl carrier bag full of those left sitting in the back of the Transit by accident when you took off and. left me stranded at Camber Sands Everything for £1 Market and chased after that convoy of squaddies with big arms hanging out the windows.

cjwoofwoof · 25/05/2015 20:22

Ooh get you pix , do you drink it in a pint glass?

icemistOBE · 25/05/2015 20:25

BK I found you!!

First chance to check in today. Thrilled to see that Jen and *Whajeb" have updated. I really wasn't expecting any ff uploads this weekend given the dramas earlier so well done to you both for metaphorically sticking two fingers up at the troublemakers! Both brilliant updates of course. Might just have to read them again when I go to bed.... just to make sure I haven't missed any important details!

Been in the garden since about 11 am. Finished the hedges and done loads of other jobs such as planting out my beans, tying up the tomatoes and thinning the grapevine (that job really makes your neck ache). Could have done with CJ to reach parts I struggled to reach for myself (no euphemism intended there orphan before you start). Had a rather unhealthy tea of sausage casserole with the addition of a huge glass of red wine thrown in to make the sauce taste even better and a rhubarb sponge and cream - rhubarb straight out of the garden. Felt I deserved it though as now muscles are screaming at me that I've done far too much!

Back to work tomorrow for a rest! Am just watching my favourite bits of episode 4 now whilst I decide whether I can move without my back giving way.

icemistOBE · 25/05/2015 20:29

Hi always

No autograph Sad but have sent another request.

Onlygirljen · 25/05/2015 20:53

Why is it that I can picture an only fools and horses type special featuring orph and woof as a pair of market traders pushing their dodgy videos on the unsuspecting public. Top shelf products all the way I imagine..
