Morning! More FF, that will be my coffee time this morninf.

nickel hope you get the hot water sorted.

KeziaOAP · 06/05/2015 08:07

Morning all, what a treat for this morning with fab ff updates to read. Jen gosh what an early start for work. Busy enjoyable morning ahead for me.... grocery shopping.

Ice 2nd pic one of my favourites.

icemistOBE · 06/05/2015 08:16

There's a new author on FF but I had to stop reading it. I know not everyone is good at spelling and grammar but I couldn't follow it. Pity as it has the potential to be a good attempt

Onlygirljen · 06/05/2015 08:19

I'm making up hours for my early finish on Friday to get tarted up for the wedding, so it's not all bad.
Although I should maybe cancel the waxing and manicure and jump on a train to Edinburgh to enjoy the kilt measuring show instead! Looking fwd to catching up on the ff..

Mumtothenipper · 06/05/2015 08:22

Both updates were fab I thought... Had a knot of tension in my gut from start to finish with both! Great story telling!!!

mummyreeds · 06/05/2015 08:25

Heading straight for FF, that'll be D's late for school (again) then!!

orphan · 06/05/2015 08:34

What a great start to the day- fab updates from nipper, dance and rhubarb and coffee in bed.Smile

nickel hope your boiler problem gets fixed speedily. There's no greater hell than no hot water!

jen I'm afraid the kilt measuring will be strictly closed shop - only those crucial to the event will be allowed access. Think film sets when they're shooting intimate scenes and you've got the picture and hopefully so will I if I can get my camera working

Ilovelblue · 06/05/2015 08:59

orphan I nearly said 'how low will you stoop?' but realised you would take that as yet another euphemism. Really didn't mean it that way either!

orphan · 06/05/2015 09:09

ilove I think you already know the answer to that one. And yes, we really have all been corrupted by this thread. Remember back when we thought ironing board covers were risqué?!

Nickel45 · 06/05/2015 09:34

I still want one of those ironing board covers!

Thank you all for you support for getting the boiler fixed. Obviously the boiler people don't think it is as bigger emergency as I do as they still haven't called! Still, I get a day working from home, so I should get lots done! And I avoid the traffic getting to work ... every cloud and all that!!

Brilliant ff updates this morning. Nipper love the way CJ and Molls are with each other, you have it spot on. Are they going to be back on the boat. I love when you update, gives me a little warm feeling ... hee hee!

Dance, so pleased you are back too :) Have you don't that abseiling/climbing/kayaking ... wow! Brilliant description, and what wonderful wording on the watch. Inspired! Fab, fab update.

Agree with you ice about the new one ... I tried really hard to read, but it was hard going. I need to concentrate on it, I think it is a good idea, but just needs a bit of editing. I saw your comment, which was really well put, good on you :)

BK28 · 06/05/2015 09:43

Good start to the day, now really late for work!! Thanks dance and rhub and nipper you have all been super busy, thank you!!!
With you on the new ff author ice struggled and had to give up. Then didn't review...should do or they won't be able to improve!! Part of the issue is that we are spoilt with quality!!!

BK28 · 06/05/2015 09:46

Hope you get a man out quickly nickel being without the boiler borders on major disaster in my mind...that's why have insurance... Surely??!!

icemistOBE · 06/05/2015 09:53

I think that's it bk we have some amazing authors so when a story has errors (which are easy to fix as you can edit even after publishing) it's frustrating!

Another excellent chapter CJ Woof, nearly choked on my coco pops!!

Caught up with Home Fires the other night and was amused by the pilchards!! Mrs Woof have you been infiltrating new Sunday night drama's on a mission to sabotage them in order to get Poldark/Our Girl back on our TV? Or.... did you get your sidekick Orphan to do the deed? I'm sure I spotted a squashy armchair in that house!!

Here's a thought, when we take over the agency can we force them to give BA a part in the second series of Poldark, think he would look lovely in the white flowing nightie? He could be Ross' long lost brother or something (if it's good enough for Eastenders...?)

cjwoofwoof · 06/05/2015 10:23

Hmm there's a thought mummy how lovely would it be to have AT and BA in the same drama, preferably in uniform, the flowing shirt or nothing at all. Maybe they could alternate the clothing between them. Think I might have to be restrained from licking the TV screen Grin

Nickel boiler problems are the pits along with water leaks and car trouble. Hope you get it sorted esp as it still feels like winter so you need the heating and hot water to be fully functioning.

Thank you for your kind words re my writing. I doff my tricorn hat to all you writers who can churn out beautifully written stories coz I find it blimmin hard to write a single paragraph let alone 10,000 words Blush

orphan · 06/05/2015 10:30

mummyr I think BA could be the new local landowner who's invited to judge the annual Pasty competition. Prudey's obviously defending her title and well, need I say it, love and lust strikes... Cue Ross and BA naked wrestling over the right to second helpings of said pasties.

Nickel45 · 06/05/2015 10:30

I am going to scream very loudly at someone on the phone soon ... apparently my insurance isn't valid as I haven't paid to have my central heating system cleaned at an exorbitant price, cos the filter was blocked a few weeks ago (the clean was three times the price of the part that needed replacing ... why would I do that?!?) ... but they didn't decided to tell me that me not doing it would invalidate the insurance. For goodness sake, do they think we all have money sitting around! Just had a good old rant at someone who is going to "see what they can do". AAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!

And breath ....... !!!!

woof think I'm gonna need some more laughs today!!!!

Nickel45 · 06/05/2015 10:31

Ooh, orphan, naked wrestling over pasties .... that'll help!! :)

orphan · 06/05/2015 10:32

Meanwhile Darkie's infatuation with the donkey has resulted in several odd looking foals with very long ears...

orphan · 06/05/2015 10:34

Oh nickel virtual outrage and hugs winging your way. That's ridiculous!

icemistOBE · 06/05/2015 10:40

That's ridiculous Nickel

Really should be doing the ironing but have been reading FF again. Just re-read dances story. Such great writing. Gonna read another story I think then do ironing.

Nickel all insurance turns out to be a waste of time just when you need to make a claim on it. How they get away with such fraud is a travesty. Car and home insurance exactly the same - you're never covered for the event that happens, grrrr! I'd take a very sharp scythe and slice their policies completely off, thieving b*stards. Virtual ditto outrage coming your way.

orphan I think we both know it wasn't the donkey that Darkie was infatuated with, and let's just say it wasnt long ears the resulting foals had. Like father like foal sigh. That flowing shirt's got a lot to answer for.

orphan · 06/05/2015 12:09

I wonder if somewhere there's a historical costumier catalogue or website, with dozens of pictures of Mr Darcy and Ross types modeling flowing shirts and tight breeches etc.

Have to say Gabriel Oak in FFTMCrowd even managed to make a smock type thing look lustworthy. Carey Mulligan had some gorgeous costumes - particularly a delft blue paisley-like number. And her waist is tiny!!

mummyreeds · 06/05/2015 12:46

Going to see FFTMC today Orphan so will make sure I check out the smock!!

Poor you Nickel, only poss consolation would be BA/CJ lookalike repair man, with pockets full of money to pay for the bill Sad

cjwoofwoof · 06/05/2015 13:17

Definitely need Matthias Schoenaerts added to the wrestling agenda. Loved him in Suite Francaise and he looks positively lush in FFTMC. Can't wait to see that - bet he looks divine in or out of a smock.

If one of them catalogues exists orph I want one. It could be the hormonal middle aged woman's version of Penthouse magazine Grin
