Agree Rhubarb. I don't think TG would keep posting those OG photos on a Sunday night if he wasn't hoping for series 2 (or knows something we don't).

Onlygirljen · 17/05/2015 20:22

painted - radio times. Think this is the article
www.radiotimes.com/news/2015-05-15/has-your-favourite-british-tv-show-been-renewed-or-cancelled

Rhubarb01 · 17/05/2015 20:31

I love the fact that of the eight comments, three are about Our Girl. I'm surprised there hasn't been a lobby to bombard RT with comments about wanting another series. It's interesting that the BBC say 'it's too early' when seven months have passed. Is it scheduled to be shown anywhere else, do we know? By the way I heard that Banished has been cancelled and there's now a cry to lobby the BBC about that as well. A reader in RT said it wasn't fair that Aiden Turner in Poldark got so much attention when there was good looking Major Ross also in uniform!

Oh god looking at that list, Mrs Browns Boys could run until 2020. I might have to shoot myself.

Rhubarb01 · 17/05/2015 20:45

My pensioner parents love Mrs Brown Boys - they even went to see the film - in spite of the language, crudeness etc. I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it, I have to agree pixie. When the first series was broadcast my jaw used to drop open wondering if it was supposed to be funny but I've got used to it. Mind you it took me a while to get my head round The Royle Family and for a while I also couldn't stand 'Outnumbered' because it felt like real life. I do however, hate those documentaries about people with a dozen kids or more because the aggravation of everyday life in those houses reminds me of when my three were all pretty small at the same time - arghh!

Sorry about the double post - a first for me! Computer is on some strange non-acting delay thing and did nothing at all! Thought I'd not hit the right button there!

icemistOBE · 17/05/2015 21:34

Evening. Bunk beds are up and hubby still alive and unharmed Grin just need the boys to actually stay in bed and they might actually go asleep!

3 photos from TG this evening, none of BA but he's been favouriting lots of tweets.

ice glad all is well in the Icemist household. DH threatened to walk out over an Ikea flat pack wardrobe. So well done the bunk beds are up and no spilt blood!!

Just read Klipdoctor. Sorry, but wasn't really into it. I just think we have been so spoilt by our wonderful FF authors here on MN, for some reason his story just hasn't grabbed me. I haven't left a review yet, mainly because I'm not logged in and I can never remember my login details, however not sure what to write and I don't want to offend him!!!

Ilovelblue · 17/05/2015 23:33

Think we've mentioned before that most of the ff writers are women and as such know what other women want to read. Klipdoctor and Daniel Darcy have similar styles and are very different to our MN writers (not including SPO in that generalisation).

He seems to have his own (Facebook???) following anyway.

icemistOBE · 18/05/2015 06:43

Morning

I must admit klips latest work didn't really make me want to read more... And Daniel darcy is very drawn out to the point of being a bit boring. Maybe I am biased but I much prefer our authors and greenstuff writing.

Work today and it's raining. I hate going to work in rain!

Morning. Up a bit earlier than usual as am having some new windows fitted and was too tired to move stuff around last night. Working from home at least for the morning whilst the work is done. Don't do it too often but it's a nice perk to have.

Tipping it down here as well. Glad I didn't bother washing the car yesterday!

Ilovelblue · 18/05/2015 07:02

PS how lucky is the makeup artist in that middle photo????

icemistOBE · 18/05/2015 07:11

I know!!!!

Oh to be the official Grime Applicator to CJ! Obvs if I had the job, the degree of authenticity would be second to none. It's amazing the places Afghan Grime can get...

Ilovelblue · 18/05/2015 08:08

orphan it's a bit early to think about that! I'm eating working on my laptop diligently.

icemistOBE · 18/05/2015 08:08

Ooh yes. Imagine what a fantastic job that would be Grin

Oh ilove don't you know it's the early bird who catches the worm and what a fine worm it is

Ilovelblue · 18/05/2015 08:12

Hmmm, obviously a real perk working on CJ but what if you got some actor who was pretty much up himself with lots of airs and graces?

Ilovelblue · 18/05/2015 08:13

Nothing about CJ would be wormlike orphan!!

orphan · 18/05/2015 08:40

Yes, the early bird would certainly struggle to grasp that particular worm in its beak but would give it a jolly good try.

cjwoofwoof · 18/05/2015 09:06

Tipping it down here too Sad but thoughts of CJs worm good for the spirits

orphan · 18/05/2015 09:08

Just caught up on ff. I agree with what's been said about klip's latest. It's well written but somehow just doesn't capture my interest. I love greenstuff and am so grateful she is a non eating, non sleeping, writing machine! Had to chuckle though in her latest update when Charles is worried that Molly has noticed his bulge...We all know The Bulge is impossible to miss!

cjwoofwoof · 18/05/2015 09:10

Omg bulges and worms...too much excitement for a miserable Monday morning

orphan · 18/05/2015 09:12

For any hosta lovers and admirers of nut trees, here are pics of some fine specimens I saw yesterday. Another case of garden envy for me.
