Jen what a lovely ending. You should be very proud! Is it a bit of an anti-climax now it's all published or are you relieved? Do you think you'll do any more in time? (I really hope so).

I'm trying to think of some horticultural euphemisms but I'm so tired tonight, I can't come up with anything witty except to say he can come through my front garden gate any time he likes. He'll always be welcome here. orphan think the euphemisms are more your domain?

I had to laugh earlier. Not sure who is on Facebook and if anyone has seen this, but one of the comments was "Can anyone be more gorgeous?" Answer: yes! David Beckham has never really done anything for me. CJ all the way!

ilove surely as a keen gardener you know how important it is to pick your lawn? Rupert does mine on a regular basis and mulches my borders if he's got time.

My DH is getting annoyed with me because I've had a glass too many and I can't stop bursting out in laughter every so often at the idea of you having your borders mulched...

I'm supposed to be emptying the dustbins but I'm laughing too much I can't...

What does he mulch your gardens with? Surely it's not manure?

Fair enough orph, regular mulching is needed to maintain optimum moisture levels. And we do know that Rupert loves to keep you nice and wet.

Seriously think you're going to have to start another story Jen if this is the level of detail you're going to lavish on orphan's garden!

My borders are always well mulched, my lawn edges regularly trimmed and my greenhouse well ventilated. What about deadheading and forking over?

Off to bed now. I thought I'd put episode 2 on - not watched it for a couple of weeks at least but fell asleep and only woke up 5 mins ago.

My borders need a bit of an overhaul. Nothing a good deep rotavating wouldn't solve.

Sorry for the late update.....we are in Cardiff tonight....I may try and sneak out early tomorrow morning to get a "on a stick tour shot" ..here he is in his latest hotel bedroom ...I can confirm he is staying rigid despite the rigours of travelling.

Enjoyed reading back on the thread and going to hit the new FF updates now as despite being very tired can never sleep well in hotels
