TBH I think it's my lucky hairclips that always sent the 1970s pinups mad. Martin Shaw's perm always looked good tied back with those, and of course it left him free from curl-dangle when he was concentrating on those cardigan buttons.

Yes woof you could never hide your fury when I ransacked your makeup drawer. And you're right, my lipstick application left a lot to be desired.

Nice that normality has resumed - icemist's pics are back. And gorgeous ones too.

Nickel we have around £250 in the pot so far though I've not counted up anything that might have come in over lunchtime. Depends what is left, we sometimes let it run on for another day and then sell stuff off cheaper.

Somebody was looking at my pictures on my screensaver and the one of CJ came up. He looked a bit baffled and said "Who's that?" He must have thought I had a secret lover stashed away (oh if only!!) I said he was the ideal replacement for my colleague who left before Christmas but as yet none of the candidates had lived up to this guy's reputation. Eventually, he twigged that the photo was of an actor!

Talk of rubber rings and stashing reminds me of course of my canned fish smuggling days. It took far more than a rubber ring to ease my discomfort, I can tell you.

Well it's brightened my trip having him with me. Evening! Nice after a busy day at work to witness the style evolution of woof and orphan over the years. Bet nickel was busy at the hairdressers sniffing the air for a whiff of pilchards to confirm whether her suspicions were true!
