painted the thought of miniStick CJ in your knickers has just left me with the thought of that will bring tears to your eyes, while actually I'm sat here crying with laughter!! I will leave the innuendo to the witticisms of others!! But I think you will need to be cautious about materials used for that model! Grin

orphan you didn't disappoint!! Sometimes it's the old ones that are the best!!

Paintedcherryblossoms · 12/05/2015 21:30

Lamination all the way BK

Ilovelblue · 12/05/2015 21:48

orphan however modest you are about your witticisms, I still think you need the joint award of OTE, Order of the Euphemism.

Nickel45 · 12/05/2015 22:59

Evening all (it's catching ... I'm sounding like a 70's cop show!).

Been up to my eyeballs in camp stuff, BK thank you ... I've delegated the responsibility back to Akela!! I'm just going to be in charge of the cooking ... so I have delegated both of the main meals to some of the mums to do and bring to camp for me to reheat! I could get quite used to this delegating lark!!

painted loving CJ on a stick! Looking forward to hearing whether you manage to get him past security!

Am going to try and get an early night now, stack up some sleep before the weekend ... last year the cubs were up at 4 am, when it got light. Luckily I can sleep through most things, and didn't notice ... but was woken up earlier than I think it sensible to feed the little bleeders! I will need to stay focused, alert and awake!

BK28 · 13/05/2015 00:15

painted you really can't go wrong with a bit of lamination!! Highly durable!!

Now must rally get into the R/L as am on the 6.30 train to London in the morning... too early!!

cjwoofwoof · 13/05/2015 10:53

Very quiet on here today. Don't tell me RL has finally caused decompression...feel like Billy No Mates sat here Sad

Nickel45 · 13/05/2015 11:00

I was just thinking the same! I'm in work and my boss is in today (his office is behind me, so sneaking on while he has gone to do something!).

woof were you in my hairdressers yesterday? I finally got my hair cut (the last time was just before littlie started school last September!) and there was a lady there who I swear could have been you (well, you on here, maybe not in RL Smile)! Euphemisms galore - and on purpose! Brilliant! I don't think the people who worked there knew what to say to her ... me, I was in hysterics, and trying to work out how to ask her if it was you!!!! But I bottled it! So, if it was ... hello!!

cjwoofwoof · 13/05/2015 11:16

Sorry Nick but I'm currently constructing a full Poldark perm and haven't visited a hairdresser since 1989 when Glenn Close's Fatal Attraction mullet was all the rage. I am, however, one of identical sextuplets spread over the whole of the Thames Valley so maybe it was my even sillier younger sister you encountered. She certainly sounds like someone I'd get on with though, dunno why Grin

cjwoofwoof · 13/05/2015 11:21

As it's just you and me Nick here's my attempt at an icemist morning pic fest. Hope it works, I'm rubbish at IT stuff.

nickel to help you identify woof in future, here's a pic of me and her, taken the last time we invited Rupert for cream tea.

cjwoofwoof · 13/05/2015 11:22

Oops that didn't work like I hoped but at least it's a bit of eye candy if you ignore the surround Blush

orphan · 13/05/2015 11:23

I'm the more feminine of the two by the way.

cjwoofwoof · 13/05/2015 11:25

Thanks orph but I think I should point out we were both several years younger in that pic, and still had our own hair and a semblance of dress sense. Think I've aged slightly better than you, however, and I do believe you still wear that cardigan to the opera don't you?

cjwoofwoof · 13/05/2015 11:26

And your front parlour has still got that wallpaper hasn't it?

orphan · 13/05/2015 11:29

woof sorry, I forgot that pic was taken before you'd put in your 'special occasion' teeth. Although if memory serves me right Rupert insisted you take them out again later

cjwoofwoof · 13/05/2015 11:30

I had trouble with my teeth even back then. Oh! The memories of that day with Rupert (erm, was he even born then?). Are you sure it wasn't Oliver Tobias in his Luke's Kingdom days? I seem to remember he always enjoyed removing my curlers very slowly

Nickel45 · 13/05/2015 11:32

Funnily enough she did look a little like the one on the left! Glad I didn't drop some comments about
stags then, I'd never be able to go back again! I imagine her response would not have been what I was expecting!! Blush

Nice pic woof thank you :) brightens up a very dreary office today.

orphan · 13/05/2015 11:37

Of course you're right woof, it was dear old Oliver Toobig-Ass. The trouble with having entertained so many gentlemen through the years is that they start to blend into one. Only a few have the attributes to stick out in the memory.

cjwoofwoof · 13/05/2015 11:37

Have a great day Nick, see you in 6 weeks for a trim and blow...

cjwoofwoof · 13/05/2015 11:41

Ditto orph I was simply going by our hairstyles for the era in question, and found that it must've been a toss up choice between dear Oliver, Barry Sheene (ooh that big motorbike) or Ian Ogilvy

Ilovelblue · 13/05/2015 12:13

Ooooh Ian Ogilvy, that's giving your age away. I really used to like him woof.

orphan · 13/05/2015 12:23

woof flicking through the albums (there's quite a collection) I've found another of us.You were unshaken in your belief that those hair clips added a certain je ne sais quoi.

Our Girl and Captain James Addicts Part XVII
orphan · 13/05/2015 12:26

For some reason I seem to have opted for the rather more 'butch' look. Ian Ogilvy had rather specialised tastes..

cjwoofwoof · 13/05/2015 12:38

I know orph Ian certainly liked the Continental hirsute-looking women in those days - a look I've enhanced even more so today, quite by accident I might add. As you can see Nick my hairstyle has hardly changed since those heady youthful days flat-sharing like Robins Nest with orphan and Ian. Nice to see we're still making full use of sensible courtelle cardigans in that pic too. Only the other day my DS reminded me that I dress like his Nan, but it was understandable because I am a bit of an old biddy. Bless!

orphan · 13/05/2015 12:46

You really are giving the camera your fabled 'come to bed eyes' in that pic aren't you woof? It worked a treat on Ian that plus a promise to butter his crumpet
