BA's followers on Twitter rising too. I'm hoping that with a new head of drama/bbc1 (can't remember which) and the series success in Oz and NZ we might get an announcement soon

I occasionally look at the tweets even though I'm not on twitter and I saw someone in the OG group pleased about the fact that they now had someone else to bombard with tweets about a second series. Still, you never know they might be a fan!

I'm just about recovered from Thursday night, lots of domesticity this weekend, garden work, cooking, laundry and washing up.

Ep 4 is next

For me, I think it was episode 3 which made me realise I was in love with a fictional character.

Me too ilove and when he was shot at the end of ep 4 I was so devastated! I must have spent every second searching online for info and then one of TV magazines had a picture of him and Molly in hospital so it gave the hope that he might actually survive!

TG has said he knew one of them would die but decided quite late it would be Smurf can you imagine if it had been the other way round???

That was me after ep 4 too ice!!

Hmmmm, am a bit doubtful we would still all be on this thread somehow? Like you, I scoured the internet to see what I could find ..... and ended up on here! It was two or three days after that though when I eventually plucked up the courage to post something.

Ladies, I've been thinking about CJ's tour. He's due with Lola this week (am assuming Jen left him with Whajeb today) and after that, he's not got any more tour dates. I propose he has a few weeks off - what do you all think? Even keen and eager soldiers need time off to reload their rifles. After that we can work out who would like him on holiday with them in the summer??

I think he needs a few weeks off. I'll look after him from 3rd Aug for a week. He'll be a great help going through the airport with the boys

I could take him to France the following week.......?

What a gorg picture of the main man! I'm watching the BAFTA awards and feel slightly miffed that OG has never been mentioned.

jen glad you're feeling a bit better, nothing like a decent breakfast to get over a hangover. I've been gardening all day and trying to not talk, bloody voice still not back. I might have a big problem tomorrow at work !

I didn't realise about the other fiction sites and that's great that Lola's story is on it. rhubarb your writing is amazing so it would be great to publish something on a dedicated fiction site. You might get a book deal? !

Richtea and ice I have half an ear on the BAFTAs whilst putting something on eBay and I keep wondering why OG hasn't had a mention at all. If nothing else, they could have had BA all dressed up in his dinner jacket handing out a prize.

Rhubarb I've said it before but you really should consider publishing. Either that or pitch it to the BBC.

... and whilst he's handing out a prize, Graham Norton could chat him up and invite him onto his Friday night show.

Yep, that is exactly what I was thinking........ and such a beautiful voice for announcing too. As one of my colleagues used to say "He'd be good reading bedtime stories".

I keep meaning to suggest him to CBeebies for the bedtime story....

Now if we, the OG collective represented BA instead of stupid HH, we would at least get him to present an award. Most of these actors/actresses only do it to promote a new series or lift their profile.

Yeah, the Radio Times programme of the year. Strange how OG was in too 4 if that and didn't even get close to being nominated for the RT BAFTA
