When we came back, I popped over to see my friend's Mum - she was the reason they bought the apartment, so that they could stay when they came up to visit (far too much money eh)? She's 96 and in failing health. It was very sad to see and I cried when I came out so walked around for a bit to calm down before I came back. Needed a cup of tea and several shortbreads as well.

orphan in RL we are eating at Pizza Express. I've so far got to do everything I've wanted so I had to let her choose. She has a voucher for a free bottle of prosecco and it will be a bit cheaper than The Witchery too!

Oh my, fun has been had in the capital this afternoon! I was meant to be leaving work early to get myself wedding ready this afternoon, but of course the promise from the boss wasn't kept and I'm not long out. Confused

Think I need a g&t too and a wax, fake tan and manicure Hmm

Just watching that Weekends with Warwick Davis, and they are in Scotland!!! Apparently there will be kilts, tossing the caber and looking for the Loch Ness Monster ... think I'll stop there!

CJ wasn't happy with Pizza Express. I think he's become too used to fine dining with me. He was useful though when a local rugby team came in and became too rowdy for the rest of the diners. He went up to them and told them all to shut the f* up. It worked!

Making the most of my last night with him and my friends' super king sized bed.

Jen what time is the handover tomorrow? I'll ensure I get him dressed in his kilt for you.

ilove ceremony is at 2pm. We need to be there by around 1.30, so I think we should pick him up around 12 to give us time to get back to the venue.

You will no doubt recognise us from RL Chris' ridiculous looking sports car. He seems to think it impresses the ladies. Are you joining us for the journey back to glasgow, or staying through in Edinburgh?

I was tired by tonight and zoned out a bit when my friend was wittering..... thinking about CJ, who else!

Midday is fine. I'll ensure it takes me the best part of the morning to sort him out in his kilt, sporran and everything else.

Our train home is at 4pm so after I've eyed up RL Chris, I will have to say farewell.

I am in Surrey at the end of next month. Would it be greedy of me to ask CJ along?

I re-read some of two chicks last night too, they are lovely stories I'm really enjoying the pregnancy one Smile another fave is Things A Mama Don't Know . And just got a message we have an update for Misunderstood Smile that will for tram to work

I'm still in bed with CJ. Pouring down and CJ is having a crisis of confidence so trying to reassure him that although all of us fancy RL Chris, we've never met him so only have Jen's description to go on and that CJ is still No 1 for us. His jealousy again I think.

He's also a bit worried in case his sporran goes limp in the rain. Not to mention what it'll do to his hair.

Tell him not to panic ilove, it's dry here. And I'll be able to get rid of any limpness in his sporran with a flick of my wrist. Totally fine. Grin

Also, he has no competition from RL Chris - think the jealousy will be the other way around when CJ is turning heads!

Brilliant update from rhubarb this morning, every chapter leaves me with my head in my hands at the end though!

Wish me luck ladies, in RL I need to get the boys packed up for babysitter, make myself half presentable, and then endure a half hour car ride with man chat from DH and RLC. All before lunchtime. Should probably go and get on with that!

Completely lost my voice last night, too many drinks and a noisy bar! Back up to LONDON this morning to see the Alexander McQueen exhibition at the V&A. I will be mute. Need CJ to make me a honey and lemon and rub sum Vicks on my chest!

Thank you for the comments on the story ladies. In truth, for reasons I won't go in to, I've been in a real quandary over it for a few days and can't say it's over yet, but we'll see.

Thanks for the words yesterday re Job and kids. Can't do much about the election results but hey ho! Icemist I found Question Time interesting last night too. Mind you, I expect poor old Paddy Ashdown wasn't feeling great after spending the whole day munching through Captain Poldark's discarded tricorn! (I could see him in a future episode with that roguish wink of his and west country accent)

jen have a lovely day. I love weddings but everyone I know is too old to get married now so I'm going to have to rely on nieces and nephews for that kind of thing in the future.

Off to work too - I agree work should be banned on Saturdays! Have a good day everyone.
