Make that probably for Channel 4.

Richtea19 · 08/05/2015 13:46

orphan is absolutely right about said Bulge causing difficulties. His neatly measured pleats are "kicking out" a bit, not quite the pristine sharp pleats that PG insists on, but hey ho, nothing that a sporan can't hide!

cjwoofwoof · 08/05/2015 13:47

Oh dear I'm not liking the sound of BA's latest big break. Most comedy dramas on TV in the last few years have been completely UN-funny so not holding out much hope for the poor lamb. And channel 4 would suggest scraping-the-barrel comedy - remember Cucumber??!! You'd think his mate Smurf would get him the Vicious gig as that's quite funny on ITV. And the two gay old guys could fancy him rotten with hilarious results etc.

Richtea19 · 08/05/2015 13:50

rhubarb I really sympathise about the Spending on games. My DS didnthe same with the xbox, we had our credit card associated with the console when we got it and my DS ran up a bill for Fifa points. Needless to say he was in a lot of trouble. We took away all gadgets for a limited time. Very difficult, but one would hope they won't do it again! Also sorry about the job situation. The power of OGCollective will be behind you! I had my 3 month appraisal this morning, and yeyy I got though and ....... A pay rise.... And extra 35p per hour, yipppeeeee .. That's the nhs for you!

cjwoofwoof · 08/05/2015 13:52

orph/richtea did you notice the Big Issue seller dressed only in a smock on Princes Street? Just as the kindly CJ was about to fill her pot with whatever was lurking in his pocket, you swooped in and carted him away in a two-handed attack, dragging his toes along the pavement. So rough!!

orphan · 08/05/2015 14:15

woof that was our trademark pincer movement you witnessed. We also use it for measuring: each take a leg and meet in the middle.

Crikey who'd have thought CJ would be such a stickler for correct dirk positioning? It's been in out, in out until he was fully satisfied.

Also slight hiccup with the traditional pumps. For some reason they had extra long laces, so richtea and I ended up lacing them right up his thighs and beyond. Of course the knots were too tight so we had to use our teeth to undo them.

cjwoofwoof · 08/05/2015 14:29

Oh dear I hope there wasn't an unfortunate outcome for your teeth like mine with Matthias yesterday. And I'm presuming you and Rich had a leg each to lace/unlace to avoid any scraps over who got the rough end of the stick so to speak

orphan · 08/05/2015 14:43

Yes we employed the pincer movement again, meeting in the middle, but I must be a very quick lacer cos I managed to get there quite some time before richtea. But conversely my unlacing skills are sadly lacking and it really took quite a while to undo the knots. Fortunately unlike you woof my teeth are up to the job.

orphan · 08/05/2015 14:46

Anyway we're just taking a break for a full cream tea. CJ's most impressed by my spread.

cjwoofwoof · 08/05/2015 15:15

Ah a nice audible snack - a good climax to finish the measuring with orph - lucky girls

KeziaOAP · 08/05/2015 15:50

Have a relative in Edinburgh he says there's some strange people about, could that be orphan and woof incognito Confused.

KeziaOAP · 08/05/2015 15:58

Whajeb your story is such a gentle romance, he's being so considerate with her feelings.

jen loved latest chapter hope Brains and Julia sort out their differences.

Will be sad to see these ff stories come to the end, but then can always read them again and again Smile. FF doesn't get taken off after a while does it?

orphan · 08/05/2015 16:15

Not me kezia Am still holed up with CJ on the final stretch of the most in depth kilt measuring session Edinburgh has ever seen.

We're just checking how high the kilt flies when doing the Gay Gordon. Obvs we don't want an unexpected sighting during the ceidlih at the wedding. richtea is operating the industrial blower (really sends the kilt flying)and I'm taking notes.

KeziaOAP · 08/05/2015 16:18

orphan surely the higher the kilt flies the better Grin.

cjwoofwoof · 08/05/2015 16:28

Hah you've fallen for my latest disguise orph as the industrial blower Grin How silly of you to be holding me that close to CJ without realizing how hard I'm blowing

orphan · 08/05/2015 16:40

woof that would explain the unfortunate incident when the blower got a little too close and it took all our strength to detach it from CJ. I must apologise to richtea - I thought it was mishandling on her part. CJ's expression was certainly pained. You must have an exceptional suck woof.

orphan · 08/05/2015 16:42

kezia we don't want CJ to steal the show from the bride. Best to keep his caber under wraps.

cjwoofwoof · 08/05/2015 17:15

Sorry orphan but after that final blow I'm afraid that particular caber has well and truly been tossed in my direction

Richtea19 · 08/05/2015 17:23

I've never mishandled my blowing duties, I'm with you orphan 100% by your side.

In RL ... Sitting in a bar near Liverpool Street, waiting for some old work friends. Sipping a very large Bombay sapphire G&T, and currently dreaming that BA will walk in, I think I would actually have a Julius if he did' anyway back to the more important thoughts of a parallel world Grin

orphan · 08/05/2015 17:35

Ooh g and t, my favourite. I'm trying, not very successfully, the 5:2 diet and today's a fast day. However now I'm feeling the Bombay Sapphire and the kettle chips are calling to me.

Richtea19 · 08/05/2015 17:37

Not only a G&T but smoked almonds, can life be any better! Doesn't take much to please me, alcohol and nibbles!!!

orphan · 08/05/2015 17:42

ilove hope CJ found his way to you safely. He may be a trifle spent - the measuring seemed to take it out of him.

Not sure if richtea and I will ever be invited back to the kilt shop though. The words 'never darken our door again' and ' illegal and unfathomable practices' seemed to be shouted after us as we were escorted briskly off the premises.

Ilovelblue · 08/05/2015 17:43

Richtea and orphan thanks for returning CJ to me. He's exhausted though and refusing to talk about the kilt fitting. He seems traumatised. I've sent him for a bath to recover.

He was thrilled with the kilt though and kept swishing around to make the sporran wiggle!

orphan · 08/05/2015 17:48

richtea likewise. The phrase 'drinks and nibbles' is one I'm very happy to hear.

Ilovelblue · 08/05/2015 17:49

In RL we went to Britannia, my third tour! Lovely day and great views over to the Forth Bridge. My friend really enjoyed herself. I think I've almost walked her off her feet (she's not very fit) because although our apartment is very central, there are lots of cobbles, hills, slopes and stairs in the city.
