Richard Armitage aka Guy everytime!!!!!!!!!!
He is all man Robin is a weasley runt.

BonfireNemo1977 · 02/11/2006 15:39

mmm think I like them both aswell.

saltire · 02/11/2006 15:39

Oh no competition, Guy of Gisburn definately

nailpolish · 02/11/2006 15:40

robin for me

cheeky and has a bad boy side

i just have to get it out of him somehow

VanillaMilkshake · 02/11/2006 15:50

I'm with the both crowd, Robin for starters and a satisfying Guy for main and dessert and coffee and conversation and........

I'll stop here and leave the rest to your imaginations

WhizzBangCaligula · 02/11/2006 15:55

LOL

I'm on the Guy side of the fence

What is this new fashion for wimps?

nailpolish · 02/11/2006 16:04

are you saying robin is a wimp?

i love his smirk and it says "i wanna shag your brains out, get yer knickers off"

sugarfree · 02/11/2006 16:04

Guy for me.

WhizzBangCaligula · 02/11/2006 16:05

Yeah he is so wimpy.

That chest and arms - if I were Marian I'd run straight back to the castle and throw myself at Guy.

sugarfree · 02/11/2006 16:05

No,it doesnt it says "Ooh,Marian's all woman and Im well out of my depth"

nailpolish · 02/11/2006 16:06

inside Marian is melting and can barely breathe

(or is that me)

sugarfree · 02/11/2006 16:08

It's you. Marian is looking shiftily for the door and wondering how fast she can run to the castle!

VanillaMilkshake · 02/11/2006 16:45

Alan A'Dale is quite nice too.... But in terms of comfortable living - Guys the one.

Much nicer than Guy in the Kevin Costner version, and the Michael Praed version too.

But with the Michael Praed version I was rather partial to Will Scarlet - the very young and gorgeous Ray Winstone!

WhizzBangCaligula · 02/11/2006 16:58

Oh gawd. Not Ray Winstone.

Very clever of them to make Guy of Giz gorge. A credible rival for Marian's affections (or at least lust)

BoingBoing · 02/11/2006 18:53

No contest. Guy. Give me a real man every time thank you very much.

And am I right in thinking that Guy in the Michael Praed version was played by (a younger, thinner!) Martin Clunes, or did I just dream it somewhere? Hmmm, definitely no contest between him and the current incumbent! Never did go for blonds.

missymoosal · 02/11/2006 19:29

Asahmed to admit and a slight digression actually find the old sheriff a bit of alright at times. Keith Allen does have such a wicked glint in his eye.

DumbledoresFawkes · 02/11/2006 19:31

Guy for looks and Robin for personality!

missymoosal · 02/11/2006 19:36

Who needs personality

DumbledoresFawkes · 02/11/2006 19:37

Me! Counts for a lot. That is why I had a thread earlier about the delights of Robin, and why I love David Tennant so much. What are you going by? Length of tool? Surely not!

liath · 02/11/2006 19:40

Guy, definitely.

Am very cross that the people doing the casting didn't consider the wants and needs of all the mothers watching this programme and get someone sexy as Robin [stamps feet]!

VanillaMilkshake · 02/11/2006 19:44

Yes Ray Winston!! Always had a thing for him!! One day I saw an interview he'd done where he said women only liked him because he was famous. And I was a bit cross about that. I happen to like his stance, rough and ready appeal etc. The fact he was famous just meant I knew he existed.

No the Michael Praed Guy was'nt Martin Clunes - although now you mention it do see the rubbery featured comparison.

I think, with the help of hormones on fire (I am 8 months PG) That any unshaven, long haired, down and dirty man - especially with ahorse between his legs will do for me at the moment - then again I am quite partial to then when not PG too .

Hands up who likes Karl Urban who plyed Eomer in Lord of the Rings phwoar!!!! Must stop now, because I'm drooling on the keyboard

roisin · 02/11/2006 19:50

Guy of Gisborne - Richard Armitage every time for me! No contest

missymoosal · 02/11/2006 19:53

Guy looks like he knows his way around a woman Robin looks like he needs a mum!! all those little boy lost pathetic expressions uggghh
Guy could drag me down to the dungeon and get his tools out anyday phowwwaaarr

VanillaMilkshake · 02/11/2006 20:05

Had a look on the RA site and when you see him and Jonas Armstrong beside each other - no contest...AT ALL

However like many of these characters he's much more ....whats the word......phwoar as Nasty Guy than he is as just himself, and as already pointed out, that how I like em, long haired and mean. I'm behind you Missy in the queue for the dungeon

missymoosal · 02/11/2006 20:35

When I'm finished with him he won't be fit for anything else go home now!!!!!
