Found it better this week but I do think if the just dumped all stories relating to staff children (borrowed or otherwise) its improve matters a lot.

How they've developed Carl's character really annoys me

Total playboy
Randomly became a single parent and went all doting dad
Then found out baby wasn't his and instantly for got about her
Went back to being a playboy
Then decided to be a surgeon because he had a man crush who decides they want to be a surgeon because they met one??
Then was told he can't be a surgeon and has now gone all 'let's stick it to the man!'

And he never confronted his brother about sleeping with his girlfriend -they've had fist fights in the past, there's no way he'd have kept his mouth shut until the picket line

So a drunk entitled poor me type is racing a car round a car park. You know this, you have full hearing and vision. You are wearing stupid heels but even so, you walk into the path of the obviously out of control car.

What do you expect to happen?

I will be interested to see if she calls an ambulance or just leaves Lily there. I am also interested in where all the car owners are!!!!

I loathe Cal! It's way past time for his come-uppance. His lying/cheating/stealing and getting away with it annoys me to no end, as for Ethan, he must be the most spineless person ever.

What do you expect to happen?

Let me see. On Planet Casualty you expect the driver to run away without calling for help. You expect to regain consciousness to find yourself immobile and your phone a few yards away, out of reach. You heroically inch yourself towards the phone, but when you get there you find it's been broken. So you expect to wait a few minutes, quietly dying, until a member of the Casualty team happens past on their way to pick up the car they've coincidentally parked just opposite where you're lying. You expect an ambulance to arrive 3 nanoseconds later, straight through into resus, a quick life-saving operation where doctors put aside their personal differences to save your life. An hour later you expect to be sitting up in bed receiving a tearful apology from Gem and reflecting with Charlie on how this experience will make you a better, more understanding doctor.
