I know there's a few of you out there...

They might have another bottle of that banana liqueur. You can use it to dull the pain Grin.

ButtonMooooon · 22/03/2017 19:11

Definitely a single rope at a reachable height. I didn't pull it for fear the Vicar Charlie and Duffy would come running

I would pull it if it made Max come running

Anyone watching Casualty?

Haha imagine if all the dogs from the area came running too!!!

morningtoncrescent62 · 23/03/2017 15:53

Awww, Max (the dog) is gorgeous. Perhaps he could get a part as Dervla's love interest?

How is it that, despite going through possibly the most traumatic experience a mother can endure, Robyn manages to be nothing other than incredibly irritating?

kel1493 · 25/03/2017 22:54

I don't usually watch it, but was flicking through the channels and watched a bit of it tonight as it looked interesting.
My baby wasn't premature but had a chest infection at birth, so was in an incubator for 2 days, and in hospital for a further 10, so 12 days in total.
Watching tonight brought tears to my eyes. Remembering my baby in hospital like that, wires everywhere, not able to hold him or take him home was so horrible. And even when I did there was always someone watching, which made me feel uncomfortable.
Knowing kind of how it feels in that situation (your baby in hospital), I can understand when she said she felt helpless. But I did find her a bit annoying after a while.

Auldspinster · 25/03/2017 23:05

It needs more Dylan, the only character that keeps me watching.

Optimist1 · 25/03/2017 23:09

And sadly unless I missed him there was no Dylan tonight, Auld! Just Robyn, Duffy and Charlie being highly annoying. Thankfully very little of Connie, which kept me from blowing my top. Smile

When Robyn was jackbooting around insisting on seeing David, I couldn't understand why they kept making excuses like him being asleep. Surely they could just have reminded her that he was a patient, she had no right to see him without his permission, and she certainly had no right to go and shout at an ill man.

insancerre · 26/03/2017 09:56

Why am I still watching this rubbish?
Cal is a liability
The new boss does nothing
Robyn's baby looked like it should be in some horror film
And as for her just walking around like hadn't just nearly died giving birth n a graveyard, well, words fail me

buggerthebotox · 26/03/2017 10:05

Crap tonight. Worse than usual. A new mother with a prem baby striding about the place, hugging surgeons, taking selfies in the neo unit? Come on, Casualty!

Why is Tom Chambers constantly haunting Casualty these days? Is he now big boss in charge or something?

Auldspinster · 26/03/2017 16:32

Nice to see Simon Shepherd looking silver foxy.

Talking about foxy, it's about time the SW got Dylan a ladyfriend.

Optimist1 · 26/03/2017 18:05

I was always hoping that Dylan and Zoe would make a go of it. They got each other.

morningtoncrescent62 · 27/03/2017 09:41

My reaction too. She obviously has great powers of recovery. And what's with this moving in with Charlie and Duffy all of a sudden? Poor Max, having worked so hard to get the nursery ready, only to be rejected when Robyn gets a better offer from her Casualty 'family'. However, now that the programme's well and truly gone down the toilet, I adjusted my expectations accordingly and watched in a kind-of 'guess the next bonkers thing to happen' spirit, so it was quite enjoyable.

CaptainHammer · 27/03/2017 21:19

Agree with you all.
I only watch it as I always have (plus it's easy to watch while on my lunch break on Sunday) and its tradition! Also, Dylan. But I'm not sure how much more I can watch.

Pixel · 29/03/2017 16:54

Just caught up this afternoon. Oh dear.

Agree with everything here about not being able to dredge up any sympathy for the obviously fake baby and the 'new family' with Duffy and Charlie (why does Duffy always sound like she's got a bunged up nose or is about to cry?). And the hugs and speeches, arghh.

What was the point of calling Connie in just to tell her not to read the notes or speak to the surgeons and 'sorry your daughter is so much worse off than mine'?

More than anything was the high level of mistrust for their own colleagues. Questioning every move, Duffy practically forcing her way into the operating theatre, (presumably in case she had to step in and finish the op), generally refusing to let any of them do their jobs without putting obstacles in their way. What was all that about? Apparently it's because Robyn cares so much, unlike the parents of the other babies in the unit who were nowhere to be seen and therefore don't care.

Sorry, all just dreadful. And the less said about Cal the better (as always).

CraicMammy · 29/03/2017 21:15

Has Sam forgotten he has a girlfriend and baby in New York?!

Has anyone noticed the S imilarities in storylines between Casualty and Holby? This week's Holby had a proposal by sweetie ring hello Charlie and Duffy and a man-wears-wig-and-thinks-no-one-knows story way too like the one in Casualty a few weeks ago, in fact I think it was the same wig...!

Polarbearflavour · 30/03/2017 17:02

What a load of crap! Holby City is so much better.

I didn't think that NICU nurse was very nice.

Sam is looking hot these days - but what's he doing job wise? Managing?

I enjoyed it when Ruth and Jay were in it but think it's really gone down hill.

DubiousCredentials · 30/03/2017 20:27

Nicu staff were horrid. Plus none of the other babies had any parents with them ever.

emochild · 01/04/2017 21:08

What a pile of shite tonight!
