You can't possibly feel sorry for someone who thinks it's OK to steal £15000 in order to impress his girlfriend.

The consultant with mnd is going to ask Connie to kill him I reckon. She will um and ahh and then do it. Then she will get arrested and Rita will hopefully go "ha in your face. That's learned you"

I'd there'll be a lot of people that think Connie did and she'll have to spend a lot of time proving she didn't. Probably over several episodes.

I agree that the murder will be the mercy killing of the MND consultant.

The trailer showing Connie and the blonde nurse manager (whose name escapes me) looks like they are smothering someone with a pillow.

Hmmm...having looked at the trailer on the BBC website, it looks less like smothering - Connie and Rita seem to have problems with the lift (do they ever work properly at Holby??) with a patient that might be Alfred but now I'm not sure Rita smothers him rather than just puts a pillow under his head.

I thought from her first appearance when she turned up in the ED that Cal's girlfriend was a con merchant. She kept going on about being a doctor ("oh we make the worst patients !") but it didn't ring true. Wish I'd written a thread about it at the time 'cos you won't believe me now .

I wish something awful would happen to Connie, can't stand her. She was so rude to Daisy (?), the girl who had befriended Alfred after the accident, as if she was jealous of him giving attention to anyone else but her. She wouldn't care about him one jot if he wasn't some famous consultant person!

Poor old Charlie gets everyone's problems dumped on him. He needs a good shag, his life seems pretty dismal.

He did but then he put the ring in Ethan's locker with an apology. Too little too late IMO but I think he is incapable of admitting Ethan is right, ever.

Surely once the drugs (morphine?) are noticed missing and Alfred dies Charlie will have an obligation to report what Connie said.

Yes it's defientlly too little too late with Cal. He probably only wrote the note and put the ring back by breaking into Ethan's locker because he doesn't want to move out. Etan pointed out the whole lack of sorry and taking of the ring the same time he told Cal to move out didn't he?

Connie used Robyn's keys to access the drugs cabinet didn't she?

I don't think Cal's apology is just because he doesn't want to move out. I think he finds it very difficult to admit that Ethan is right or better than him in any way. He didn't want to let Ethan do the procedure on the science teacher for example, trying to butt in. He is a self centred egotistical idiot! :o

He seems to have fleeting flashes of decency which soon disappear into the ether.

I find the whole storyline about Connie and the doctor with MND incredibly tedious, and I'm afraid it's going to become more so. It's so predictable that we're going to have the whole mercy killing scenario, which obviously is going to prompt some sort of crisis with whatshername - blonde nurse manager, I can't remember her name either. Mind you, if it means we get rid of Connie, that's all to the good, she always seems terribly like a cardboard pantomime villain to me.

There is a good group of people who think Connie is the best character there is (judging by the casualty FB page)

Don't mind her, she's irritatingly interesting. I'd like Cal to go however!
