Anyone watching Casualty?

I know there's a few of you out there...

I hate Cal.
Connie is an irritating bitch.
Lofty is wetter than a freshly caught haddock.
Charlie is like an imaginary guardian angel flitting in and out and offering sage comments in a soft voice.
Max is a lazy good for nothing.

I love Dylan. He is wonderful.

Dylan is great. A man of very few words.

Dylan and Zoe are my favourites, I have a soft spot for Charlie (who let's face it is pretty inoffensive) and Ethan has flashes of being brilliant and saving the day in between the wimpishness (and he means well). As for the others I wouldn't be too bothered if any of them left/died of plague.

Oh I suppose I'll let Big Mac off as well. He doesn't have much of a life poor bloke! And he has to live with Noel so he's been punished enough.

Yes to Dylan and Zoe. The Zoe/Max thing is sweet but otherwise Max can go.
And then Charlie/Big Mac are pretty inoffensive but I don't care about anyone else.

Cal is quite seriously the most irritating (reoccurring) character that have ever been in Casualty.

Fact.

I find it hard to disagree with that!

The rest - Meh, except for Connie who needs to go.

We could do with some more mature eye candy. Isn't it time for Robson Greene's character to follow in Ash's footsteps and reappear having become an A&E consultant?

Last night Dylan seemed to be the only dr working.

Luckily there weren't any major emergencies like the weekly helicopter/train/explosion etc that there is in Holby wasn't it with just Dylan doing anything

Robson Greene was a porter wasn't he?

I think I've forgotten more than I've remember of the past cast!

A crane crashing into the building = fairly minor accident in Holby!

Vehicles crashing into the hospital is the only way they get any decorating done, isn't it?

Oh yes Lily, she's ok she's growing on me a lot.

I miss Nick Jordan, wish we could kick the odious Connie out and get him back, then we'd have all my favourites together . Maybe we'll get lucky and she'll be banged up for good but I'm not holding my breath.

Fwiw I love Big Mac. I'd like to see him find his soulmate!

Surely Connie's career is over regardless of whether she is found guilty of murder.

Oh yes to Big Mac finding a lovely partner.

I don't like Connie but I kind of like not liking her.

I think the trouble with Connie is that the character essentially has no depth at all, and every time they try to give her some depth it just comes over as very false. It might work with a better actress, though.

I wonder? Reading the FB page there are a good few people that think the actress is amazing, they are the people (but not exclusively) that think Connie is a brilliant character.

Have to say I wouldn't be sad if Connie left, I like Casualty and prefer to like all the characters. They don't have to be lovable likeable, but characters like Lily who you've see the other side of so 'know' them are good. You might just have something there then about how the character is acted (don't watch Holby so never saw Connie in that)

I just don't see how Connie can still be a doctor - it is clear she gave Alfred the drugs and thus stole them from the hospital. How can she not be struck off at the very least? (Although I admit this would be very easy in the world of Holby :o)

I was hoping Connie would manage to get shot of Rita before being dragged away for murder. She's the most unlikeable character there is. she has no redeeming qualities. Her face is constantly tripping her

Thought Rita could have been a good character coming in. Seemed to be set up so.

I missing having a very likeable male paramedic. Iain just isn't good for that main role. Not with Dixie anyway, and Dixie is fabulous so needs to stay.

Maybe Josh should come back. We need a Josh or Jeff to support Dixie.

They are short of paramedics aren't they? They seem to have lost characters and not replaced them.

At least that's true to life

Poor Josh, I don't think I could bear it if he came back. His entire life was just progressing from one dreadful disaster to the next. I hope somewhere out there in the world beyond Casualty he is at last managing to lead a nice tranquil life without any catastrophes.
