ilove sounds hard, but glad you have flagged it to your boss. Sounds like your colleague has lots of stuff to work through, must be a really tough time for them, I can't begin to imagine, but it doesn't make it any easier for you. I hope your boss is realistic in your appraisal xx

Richtea are you sure? You're already down as one of the stylists and a first aider (specialist topics chlamydia and IUDs). I wouldn't want to overload you. We'd have to compensate you in some way for the out of hours stuff. Maybe an extra session with CJ on one of his "rest" days??

Nickel I've lost patience with the woman who's caused all this trouble to be honest. I know exactly what it's like to lose a parent unexpectedly (as do others on here) so she should either stay off (which is what her doctor wanted) or come back and tough it out but this in/off, in/off situation has just upset everyone. I definitely thought it was odd though the number of times she rang me about 11.30 at night when she has a partner who lives with her. I must seem unsympathetic but my patience has just worn thin.

Not at all unsympathetic ilove, there is a definite limit as to how much anyone can take, particularly if she has a partner she should be turning too. I bet you were incredibly patient with her though, but sounds like she isn't really helping herself. Anyway, hopefully work will all sort itself out for you x

I'm supposed to be working, but really not getting into it at all. Not helped by the people in the US that I am working with not putting any bloody effort in. They need a good CJ kick up the backside with six lacehole combat boots (oh no, need to watch ep 1, can't remember the words!!!)

I'll volunteer to be His Girl Friday because that guarantees me one day a week ha ha! (Plus title of a great old film - love Cary Grant!) In addition it would mean I would always need to be around to deal with and pander to his slightest whim - so it sounds good to me. I did have a little cjwoofism I could have used there but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. BTW woof there's a 'Carry-on' fest due on ITV3 for Easter - enough material there for the rest of the year. As an aside I just love the Darkie and Prudey spat - you two are hilarious.

P.S. thanks for the comments ladies, much appreciated - oh and if stern is good enough for Mr Darcy, it's good enough for CJ! I'm sure he'll eventually manage to be nice.
