Yep tried to think of all eventualities orphan so strapped on rocking, swivel, dining and deck in case the sun comes out. Might gonna need a Bergen as well as the belt to carry all the baking equipment; trays, cutters, weighing scales, measuring spoons etc. Getting a bit of skin chafe now but just keep reminding myself CJ needs me 100% by his side so I need to put some extra bloody effort in and find the Vaseline

icemistOBE · 19/03/2015 07:15

Morning

Nice to see our CJ On Tour: The Return is proving just as popular with lots of applicants for the essential jobs Wink

When is pixie back? We don't want the main man heading off the US to film before our tour starts again

Fab photo this morning. Very stern!

Should we be hanging out "welcome home" banners for CJs arrival into Heathrow. I think cjwoof lives the nearest.......? He might need an overnight stay with her to get over jet lag, and then zip down to the Kent countryside for a relax (in ya dreams) break with me before setting off on the next leg of his tour!!!

cjwoof are you tools attached with Velcro to your utility belt so you can whip them off quickly :)

orphan · 19/03/2015 07:53

icemist had to laugh - the way your pic shows up before I click on it to enlarge, looks as if you've posted a photo of just his groin area! Totally understandable of course.

richtea how was your son's concert?

icemistOBE · 19/03/2015 08:02

Well....

It's his packed and ready to go on tour photo- probably not the tour he thought he was going on Grin

Morning Great picture ice Armed and Dangerous, Nice!! Wink

Can't stop laughing at the vision cjwoof has painted of herself attached to every variety of chair known to man plus other vital pieces of kit. Perhaps this image might be caught by our cartoonist!!??

Richtea19 · 19/03/2015 08:33

orphan the concert was brilliant, I'm always amazed at the talent some of these young boys have. My sons set was rather loud!!! He was rocking it out! Father was mortified that there was just hot drinks for refreshments! Should of packed him a hip flask! cjwoof that could be something else for your utility belt, in case of emergency break out the alcohol !

orphan · 19/03/2015 08:36

woof just thought - you seem to have missed the classic egg shaped chair that either hangs (favourite of my childhood) or is on a swivelling stand. I'm sure CJ would love to 'relax' in one of those. They are a bit cumbersome to carry but you could strap it to your back like a turtle shell.

orphan · 19/03/2015 08:39

richtea sounds great. Was it a guitar solo or is he part of a band? My son plays guitar in a band but I suspect that a lot of their practice sessions are just a cover for playing beer pong...

Richtea19 · 19/03/2015 08:56

His in a band , well the call it guitar ensemble at school! Just four of them. He was so nervous, as his debut in front of an audience.

I love the image of a turtle shell chair !

pixieg1rl · 19/03/2015 09:17

CJ and I will be back on 29th. Who is up for collecting him from Heathrow early? I think cherin was next in line, he should make a nice distraction from the insanity of house hunting.

It's ridiculously hot here today. 35 degrees. I'm melting.

orphan · 19/03/2015 09:17

Heehee - 'guitar ensemble'! Glad it went well and hope you were down in the mosh pit, fist pumping!!

orphan · 19/03/2015 09:26

Ooh pixie I'm now thinking CJ all sweaty, doing a coke man advert type of thing...

I love the heat ( but only if there's a pool right next to me). Last time we went to Puglia it was in the 40's and I have to say Italian men look a lot better in the heat than the majority of British. (I'm waiting for cherin to come and burst my carabinieri bubble againGrin)

cjwoofwoof · 19/03/2015 09:59

Morning, lovely Captain Stern Face this morning ice just the ticket to start the day.

Heathrow is very close to me so I shall collect CJ from pixie and check him over very thoroughly for any signs of damage/audible crack she may have accidentally, or on purpose, inflicted. Obviously he'll want to check out my utility belt to make sure I'm fully equipped for all possibilities. Thankfully orphan I've mastered the egg chair on my back turtle-like with the baking Bergen strapped on top of it. Not so easy to walk now and a bit worried my bulging varicose veins could blow at any moment, but at least I've got a first aid kit round my neck for emergencies. Velcro is proving a bit tricky Richtea as tools keep dropping off, so I've reattached them with rope which also doubles up as a restrainer for when CJ tries out the egg chair with me pinning him down

Once I've been given the once or several times over, I'll then pass him on to *cherin for continuance of the Come Back To Us Tour.

Ilovelblue · 19/03/2015 10:05

Sorry cjwoof but I simply have to pull rank here. I am the tour guide and personal chauffeur (that role was never negotiable with any of you) so I will collect him from Heathrow. I've often fancied standing in the arrivals hall with a board waiting for somebody to come through Customs etc. What I want most of all is for everyone to look envious as this gorgeous, handsome soldier strides through and picks me up for a big hug. I can then deliver him to cherin. I will allow you to come and watch though if you want.

KeziaOAP · 19/03/2015 10:11

Morning all :)

woof you'll be so totally covered with paraphernalia/equipment how will CJ know it's you waiting for him at Heathrow and, most important, how do you stop him running in the other direction Hmm.

percyjackson1 · 19/03/2015 10:13

You are a human version of Buckaroo...

cjwoofwoof · 19/03/2015 10:19

Ok ilove I forgot you were chauffeur so you can sit in the M4 traffic for two hours then pay £30 for half hour Short Stay before being clamped for being in the Yellow Zone. Then you can go and meet CJ, who will be late and irritable, feeling all frazzled and stressed. Part of me would indeed like to see that Grin

Tbh I was a bit worried the utility belt and wheelbarrow would set off the security alarms and I could find myself being strip searched in a darkened room with a bunch of black uniformed airport police carrying guns, and that would never do.

cjwoofwoof · 19/03/2015 10:27

Kez I think CJ would know my legs anywhere, just read my diary entry from the other day. They're pretty unique even with a cocktail shaker and hairbrush strapped to the thighs Wink

KeziaOAP · 19/03/2015 10:28

woof strip searched in a darkened room....... could take a long time stripping everything off equipment, compensation for not picking up CJ? Grin.

Off out will be back later.

cjwoofwoof · 19/03/2015 10:28

And he'll never be able to run away coz I've also packed a lasso

cjwoofwoof · 19/03/2015 10:29

Indeed kez as one door closes and all that...

Ilovelblue · 19/03/2015 10:33

I'll be doing the M6/42/40/25 route to Heathrow and as he is in HM Forces, I will have a police escort so no waiting in traffic for me and I will arrive as cool as a cucumber. If he is frazzled and stressed, it will be my job to de-stress him. I can think of one or two ways to assist.

cjwoofwoof · 19/03/2015 10:44

Damn and blast your cool composure ilove , CJ will be so impressed by that grrr!

That reminds me, I need to strap on a sick bucket...

Ilovelblue · 19/03/2015 11:01

Precisely the reason why I am a perfect match for the role cjwoof. Haha!
