PG?!?

cjwoofwoof · 18/03/2015 18:51

Yes the birch twigs are getting in the way somewhat when I sit down, although it's not an unpleasant feeling and no worse than the plumbers mate

cjwoofwoof · 18/03/2015 18:57

PG is Patrick Grant mooj who is orphans idea of top totty, poor girl. She might gonna need to visit the optician very very soon Confused

moojangles · 18/03/2015 19:00

He gets my approval. Presume he's good with his hands!
Really must get back to marking

orphan · 18/03/2015 19:14

mooj glad you approve. He's a wizard with his hands and his legs are a wonder to behold in a kilt (check out the kilt making episode of Sewing Bee).

cjwoofwoof · 18/03/2015 19:19

Good luck with PG and his kilt you two, leaves more CJ feasting for me and AT for between meals Grin

moojangles · 18/03/2015 19:23

Tall man in kilt, finally being a pygmy may be an advantage! Not giving up on CJ but will happily miss pointy AT

Ilovelblue · 18/03/2015 19:42

OMG, what the heck have I started with CJ's back-up team?

Only just got home and started tea when a van pulled up outside the gate and I realised he'd come too soon. (Not a situation we would want to experience with CJ clearly, is it ladies?). He should have appeared tomorrow at 5.30 and he came at 6.15 tonight instead. Still, at least it got it all sorted and he is a nice, friendly guy. Did wonder about a couple of his plumbing terms and nearly sniggered, thinking about this thread. "Your pipes all look intact" and then "it all seems quite firm with no leakage", but reckon that was my dirty mind. It was cheaper than I thought so even though he couldn't find the leak, he didn't charge me for it. (He was also here to service the gas fire).

Will have my tea now and then put the team roles together and see what you think.

icemistOBE · 18/03/2015 19:50

Tears are streaming down my face with laughing so much!!

I am happy with my IT role, I can spy keep an eye on things when CJ is at work. We wouldn't want any half- hearted attempts at job satisfaction

Pointy is better than flaccid any day of the week mooj but you get back to Knitting Pattern Man in Kilt if you like

cherin · 18/03/2015 20:31

Knitting? Who's knitting? I have a book of pattern to knit meerkats, if anyone's interested ;-)
(Meerkats have this gorgeous surprised face, reminds me of the deer in the headlights that started so much activity 'round here)

I will try to catch up with your shenighans but I doubt I'll follow. RL is really busy, what between house hunting, house selling, work overflow into time-supposed-to-be-off, kids, old depressive parents, etc etc
But I will not abandon you ladies! :-)
Xxx

BK28 · 18/03/2015 20:45

Just arrived back home and yes I can confirm woof that I'm more than happy that my icebergs are more than up to standard for bouncing up close and personal with CJ.

Bit concerned that with all that equipment on your utility belt you might become a Health and Safety risk?!?

Ilovelblue · 18/03/2015 21:05

Here's my attempt at the CJ Back on Tour poster.

docs.google.com/document/d/1T1CA4QrXfS-Uz9ukwDOqQCTkVgVO2Yll3Xcqr2C1OQI/edit

There are still some roles to fill so let me know if you are interested in any of them!

Hopefully, I've managed to get the sharing right on it this time (unlike CJ's diary last weekend).

icemistOBE · 18/03/2015 21:09

Love it!

I can do public relations too Grin

OK icemist, you're in there!

Nickel45 · 18/03/2015 21:26

Brilliant, ilove. Not sure I'll be very good at IT, unless I am getting hands on with the hard drive?
However, I have spent the evening teaching cubs how to tie knots, which could come in handy .... and will be in charge of the catering at cub camp this summer (how on earth I ended up with that, I'll never know .... obviously decided by someone who has never seen me cook ... and most people haven't!), so maybe I can do some catering. I definitely think I will need to practise my cream teas so will need CJ over this way for that.

cherin · 18/03/2015 21:35

I am good at baking, do you think CJ is allowed carbs or is he one of these obsessed detox/cayenne pepper and lemon/fasting types?

Btw, I know it's a bit of a risky job nowadays, but can I be the cartoonist recording the tour highlights?

Ilovelblue · 18/03/2015 21:37

cherin the catering would be for everyone remember, not just CJ. When he did one of those radio interviews, he said how much he loved food, so in answer to your question, I would say no, he's not obsessed.

I think a cartoonist would be a lovely idea. I will add you to the team.

Richtea19 · 18/03/2015 21:59

ilove brilliant tour guide, I love it! I have a feeling we will be adding to the list.!!

Ilovelblue · 18/03/2015 22:25

Just remembered the funniest thing my plumber said when he was trying to locate the leak. We'd had the tap running and couldn't see anything so he decided to fill the sink then let the water gush out in one go (I'd already tried that myself but didn't tell him). "Are we there yet?" meaning was the sink full, to which I said yes, we were. Then "So pull it out slowly". I had to cough to cover up my giggle.

mummyreeds · 18/03/2015 22:48

Does being a stylist mean I get to touch up his 'white bits'! Very responsible job that but pretty sure I can cope.

Ilovelblue · 18/03/2015 22:52

mummy it would normally mean that but I think after his time in Kenya with pixie, there may be no white bits to touch up! She did say he is very vain about making sure there are no white bits if I recall correctly.

orphan · 18/03/2015 22:55

ilove brilliant On Tour poster!

Are you absolutely sure your plumber wasn't in on our CJ obsession? Or did he think he was taking part in a 70s porn movie?!Grin

cjwoofwoof · 18/03/2015 23:07

Brilliant tour poster ilove and well done for keeping a straight face in the plumber conversation.

My Girl Friday utility belt is now so full of gadgets I need a wheelbarrow to support it. Bit worried if CJ marches ahead a bit quick I'll be bringing up the rear. Hmmm not that that's a bad place to find myself actually so maybe I'll clip on a few more bits just to be on the safe side. You never know when he might need a rocking chair or a portaloo...

orphan · 18/03/2015 23:19

Hope you've got at least one swivel chair attached to the belt woof. And what about a saddle and bridle in case he wants to practise for his role in the MN version of Poldark? (Or are you already wearing those atop your fur bikini?)
