Thanks for putting the story on fanfiction Icemist. I know what you mean about KD writing something similar but if you remember he was lurking on here for a while before Christmas and it's entirely possible that he may have got the original germ of an idea from us but put it to one side. To be fair to him, of course, we didn't do anything with ours for quite a while so that's just how it goes, I suppose. If that is the case I don't expect it will get commented on by him at least (and we can always refer in author notes to the thread it was originally on - proof!). In any case ours is a little different as it clearly sounds like the words of three different people and has three different styles. As for Smurf - I know we should include him - I'll think about it but I'm not sure if I'm really very good with modern day stuff and I haven't watched or thought about the original for a long time - short, blunt talking, on the edge, red-haired welshman - yeah I'll have to think about it! No promises. Anyone else who fancies it - I said 'it' not him - please feel free to offer.

I think some stories are quite similar anyway. It's how you write them that makes difference. And 'ours' certainly reads different to KDs 'Perspectives'.

I think Smurf would be gushing about Molly, caring a lot more about what happens to her than Bashira, and I think would notice the looks between CJ and Molly on stage. Maybe a hint of that he knows about CJ being married?

Can that ^^ be used as a prompt? Anything else to add / not use?

Perhaps if someone has returned to these shores it means his reign in Reign is over. Who knows what other projects could be on the table! I know we've all said we could live without series 2 but I'd still love the chance to do what some of the other discussion threads on here can do and enjoy debating the episodes as they air and dissecting them in minute detail! I feel a bit jealous of the Musketeers thread - lucky them!

I was wondering how we (in the broadest sense!!) could do smurfs pov cos I couldn't imagine him writing a diary. Was wondering about a letter to his mum cos he wasn't long back at the fob, so he could write to tell her he was ok and back there and then say about molly and this. But then wasn't sure if he'd be able to write about this in a letter, so stopped there!!!!! It's been a long morning!! But warm inside,enjoy your stag (definitely!) Hot water bottle fwk (ooh, fwk comes up as Dylan on autocorrect ... spooky! ! Although autocorrect comes up as autocorrec ???!?!!), like I say, been a long morning!!!!

jen absolutely loving this chapter of In The Long Run. It felt like I actually knew them and my heart was breaking. I know there will be a happy ending but I'm really enjoying this story in how they get there.

yep he's back don't know when exactly but he's back. And not sure yet if this means he's finished Reign or not.
