I ordered the DVDs. I have watched the original 90min program which was fantastic and in half way through series 1. I've seen 3 episodes (is there 5 or 6 in total?)

I heard the last one is quite sad so I've been avoiding watching it!

Hi Nativity. Those of us who have been on here the longest would probably say that episode 2 is the best overall. Is episode 5 sad? Depends whether you are a CJ fan or a Smurf fan..... would definitely point out that it seems a bit rushed. Think we spent 3 or 4 threads discussing that aspect of it!

Back to work today. Going to be very hard to readjust!

nativity you have to watch them all! And you won't have the agonising week long wait at the ep 4, that we had. That was when I knew I was hooked! I had never waited out like that for a tv program before, ever, counting the days and hours! Thought I was completely off my rocker! I reckon ep 2 is my favourite now though, mind you ep 3 at the start ... Hmmm .... Might have to have a bit of a watch again, just to check. It's been a few weeks!

ice don't wear him out too much, I still need him in full working order when he gets here at the weekend! nipper great chapter and a fitting conclusion!

Won't be around much today, got hundreds of work to get done. Will try and post next chapter of in the long run when I get home this evening though.

Episode 1 drew us in and left us wondering how it would all pan out..
Episode 2 was the most dramatic and I got to the end desperate for more...
I was frustrated by episode 3 as I just wanted her back at the fob, I always skip the r&r stuff when I'm re watching, but mind you I do love the rosabaya scene.
Epiode 4 had the main event, it was a long week waiting for episode 5 which then seemed to pack as much into it as all the previous episodes combined. I would have lived for that to have been stretched out over three or more episodes.

That week between Ep 4 and 5 was terrible and yes totally agree never ever had that experience with another TV show. God it was mad. Mind you I couldn't wait for ep 4 either but not as crazy as the wait for EP 5. Even thinking bout it now makes me excited. TG and rest of production team must have been over the moon with the reaction it got in all social media. I remember the company that own Bailbrook tweeting a few mins before to look out for it. I guessed then that they got their date in Bath. I like that they used actual hotels and pubs in the places and not some London restaurant being in Bath etc
If they made series 2 it would have a lot to live up too!

Not that I am a boastful type usually Nativity but just have to point out that I have just returned from that very hotel in Bath icemist has mentioned!

Had to laugh when the doormen greeted us. Molly Dawes turned up with a clutch bag and we had large suitcases!

My house was never tidier than between the last few episodes. It was palpable nervous tension about how they were going to go with the story - scary!!!

Something I've wondered about in episode 5 was the bedroom scene actually at BH and just the hallway and stairs of #20 used for the filming?

Morning! Still sniggering at the Madonna tumble, poor old bird. Bet she didn't want to upstage the Brits by those means - viral within 10 seconds apparently lol.

I never "noticed" CJ until Ep 3 coz I firmly believed the show was gonna be one of those usual cliched dramas that never pan out like you want them to and so I barely paid attention to first two episodes. Cockwomble or what? Then at the Rosabaya scene it was like a Tom and Jerry moment, eyes popping out of head and hooter sounding - what a gentleman and goddam gorgeous to boot. And the rest, as they say, is history and he's STILL in my nut, sigh.
