jen I'm not sure my heart will be up to more drama, it breaks a little more with each update! You write so clearly, I can see every line of worry and emotion on their faces as I read.

Thoroughly agree with all the comments about the FF. Truly wonderful writing.
I had a look around the FF site yesterday. It rather amused me to see that there's fan fic for 50 shades which in its original form was fan fic for twilight . So much stuff! There's even a list of authors who don't allow ff of their writing.

Hope cjwoof is ok.

I saw that list too.. I found it amazing just how big the site is.
I remember being told ago that 50 shades started out as a twilight ff, but I hadn't connected that to our ff ifyswim!
It was only when I was chatting to a rl friend who reads ff about 'author notes' that I connected the dots!

She started on FF.net too but it's all been wiped

Back from holiday today but making the most of the morning and then hitting the route home early afternoon.

Spent all morning doing a much needed clean of the house. A friend is coming round this afternoon so thought it would be wise. Newspapers and magazines seem to breed in our house, but I got a bit distracted clearing them away and ended up reading a lot of them!

orphan I am in a cafe in Evesham with my friend and started to smirk. Found myself doing that lip biting thing to stop myself laughing. She has no idea how much time I have spent on here since Sunday!

Not warm enough for the car windows open. CJ's bergen is taking up half the back seat as well. I thought he might travel lighter than this.

Ooh I say! Just seen a trailer for the new Poldark series...think I may have found a new focus for my attention whilst we're waiting for CJ/BA to come back to us. Very nice wet frilly shirts and dark swarthy looks and plenty of 17th C grubbiness to sponge off. Who is that bloke? Think he's been invited to the wrestling but can't Google until I've put my eyes back in from their stalks. Top totty indeed

Aidan Turner is the Poldark bloke and yes he's a wrestling invitee. I like the idea of billowing shirts but he doesn't appeal...yet.

Yep it's great to be back, my fellow cockwombles, I've missed the sophisticated silliness for sure. But enough of all that, tell me more of this Aidan Turner chappie, where has he been hiding? That July 2009 wiki pic Nickel is the equivalent of BA in his Aran cardy. He DID NOT look like that in the trailer I just saw. He looks like Oliver Tobias' love child crossed with David Essex circa 1979, plus a healthy portion of D'Artagnan. I certainly wouldn't mind an extremely long board meeting aboard some Executive swivel chairs in my Play Room with a cream tea interval with THAT fine specimen.
