Richtea - Holby storylines have really gone downhill I think. Learning to drive in a large Mercedes estate car in your slippers whilst ill in hospital is pretty poor in my opinion. Maybe we need MN writers to spice it all up again!

Nickel I was up late this morning and had switched off dear CJ and his "Have some human decency......" alarm call off and then dozed for a bit. Was even later when I saw the latest updates of the ff too and just couldn't resist. Lovely stuff Whajeb and Lola!

New chapter from rhubarb ... oh my goodness, you write so brilliantly! I can't wait to see what happens next (but should I avoid reading it at night? .... gulp!!!)

Thanks Nickel - no one needs to hide behind the sofa! I flagged up at the start there was a mystery element to the story but that is intended to be set against the continuing story and a look at how CJ and Molly etc are settling into their new life. I hope it doesn't put people off - I suppose I'll just have to see how it goes although don't worry, even if there's only one person left reading at the end I will still finish it for them!

I'll defintely still be reading rhubarb, I love it ... and pretty sure lots and lots of others will too. :)

Another lurker here, been loving and following your wonderful craziness since thread 3. I'm not one for posting online but wanted to share this which I found while idly googling..I know it's from the pre CJ phase which everyone has agreed is not as awe inducing but I haven't seen it elsewhere so thought you might enjoy.

Prefer the combats, legs akimbo, stubbly MrSternface myself, but always nice to see how BA has got fitter improved with age . I lurked for a while too, but it's great to join in with fellow cockwombles on here, even therapeutic - way better than RL when it comes to fantasizing about your favourite Captain!

cjwoof I've been following jpcrafty for some time and I absolutely love her latest chapter. It gave me a hot flush when I read it at lunchtime! Mind you, it doesn't take much these days. Wonder if she lurks on here too?

ilove how did I manage to not break cover? thought may be I was a bit too old (71 eek!) although I'm very young at heart and very much into sophisticated silliness .

More ff to read, you MN authors are so talented, I read the stories to my 85 years young friend although I may skip Jen's chapter 14, reading to yourself is a different kettle of fish to reading out loud! .

Kezia I am definitely old enough to be CJ's mother but it does not stop me fantasising so come and join us properly. Glad you broke cover. It's fun! I think we range from 30ish to 50ish so far and now up to 70ish! His attributes clearly span several generations!

How lovely to have some more newbees after 10,000 posts joining in the silliness. Kez you're as old as the man you want to feel I always say (think someone's already said that to you, oops!) so that makes me wish I was about 29 I believe Unfortunately I have to utilize the lifelike CJ plastic surgery blow up suit on my DH to achieve that age however, sigh.

Can't wait to catch up on the ff later it's driving me mad! Can't seem to get a calmness in my nut until I know I'm up to date with it.
