That kind of training will defo come in handy at the AGM WHAJ , especially when Ilove and Richtea try lingerie queue jumping thinking their iceberg size warrants extra attention. Things may well turn nasty especially if I incite more fighting and whilst you're breaking up the riots I'll slip in for an extra long measuring session teehee Grin

cherin · 04/02/2015 20:02

That would be cheating!!! Is that a serious (????) wrestling competition or a wild arena?? Come on, this is civilised Britain!
:-)
Welcome to all the newcomers, a warm embrace, age is just a figure and has nothing to do with our real selves...
(My real self has been hectic all day, hair like a wasps nest, lunched with oatcakes and Nutella whilst on a conference call with Denmark, has a house that looks like a skip and is currently lying on a mattress on the floor hoping for a kiddo to fall asleep presto).
My inner self is poised, coiffed, perfectly healthy and nibbles on celery sticks whilst admiring the glow on my smooth, young skinned and taut legs. Surely to be appreciated by CJ amd equivalently handsome young fellows. Ahahahah

(It really was a tough day, you can tell)

stressybird · 04/02/2015 21:34

Checking in after a few days away. In keeping with my username, am stressed with work, school and life in general. Have pmt that makes me want to punch someone, especially stupid arse men who cut me up on the way to work and even more so, stupid arse colleagues who will insist on moving my CJ mug.

Apart from that, life is good Grin. It would just be better if people stopped winding me up.

Rhubarb01 · 04/02/2015 21:39

Just got in after being out for hours and therefore out of range of all things internet related as I am still living in the stone age as far as mobile communication is concerned - in the end I resisted the phone upgrade. Thanks everyone for the kind comments I very much appreciate them as always.

Welcome to the newbies. Like others have said I can't believe you've followed for so long before de-lurking - amazing self-control! I have to say Kezia that if I want a silly/fun conversation I usually talk to my mum who is in her mid-seventies as she is far more amusing and enjoys a bit of a giggle more than my DH or teenage DD who tend to roll their eyes in disgust when I say daft things. it is proof that your sense of humour just improves with age - so welcome to the madness!

Speighty33 · 04/02/2015 21:42

My DH is away on business so was going to have a lovely evening watching OG as I haven't watched it this year I don't think, anyway - spent best part of two hours de-nitting my eldest DD instead! Arghhh! Oh well I feel a glass of wine is well deserved and will resolve to watch OG tomorrow evening instead :)

Nickel45 · 04/02/2015 21:51

speighty you'll just have to watch a few you tube compilations before bed instead!
After a mega tantrum and me being so fed up, littlie is sleeping in my bed ... And is still awake. I am so not impressed, in fact have just threatened if she isn't asleep by ten I'll be picking her up and dumping her in her bed! Honestly, I never let the kids sleep with me (not counting me falling asleep on their floor here!) so I thought, why not, just one night! Well, now I know why not!
I really need to be getting on with watching Broadchurch, before Lola's next chapter is out ... And have I finish YHMAHello. I did start last night, and did fall asleep reading .... But want to carry on now!

Nickel45 · 04/02/2015 21:57

A pic of KA without a goblet and without his crown... Lola hope this doesn't ruin your next chapter ... Wink

Nickel45 · 04/02/2015 21:57

Liking his hair a lot in that one .... Hmmm ....

Rhubarb01 · 04/02/2015 22:06

That cape looks straight out of the 1960's. I could see Doris Day or some of the cast of Mad Men wearing it - the female ones of course!

LolaKent14 · 04/02/2015 22:09

am working hard......not quite there yet :)

SPO left me a review. Almost fainted it was like the Messiah came to visit. My life is complete.

cjwoofwoof · 04/02/2015 22:21

Quite right Rhubarb it's hard to see beyond that awful Doris Day furry monstrosity - fancy disguising those perfect forearms and big hands in such a fright. Love the look on the other guys face - "why oh why are you so gorgeously gorgeous when I'm not AND I've got no arm-holes in my cloak as big and gorgeous as yours"!!

Rhubarb01 · 04/02/2015 22:28

Yes cjwoof not only is he fiercely jealous of CJ's finery but I bet he's also wondering why someone has trussed him up to look like a school satchel!

cjwoofwoof · 04/02/2015 22:29

Woo hoo Jen has updated How Could I Forget!!

Rhubarb01 · 04/02/2015 22:30

Actually given the positions of their hands I would say they are lining up in the wall for a medieval game of football!

Nickel45 · 04/02/2015 22:30

lola I am so impressed!!

spo, don't think that gets you out of coming back here to see us!! ... It just buys you a little more time!!Wink

Paintedcherryblossoms · 04/02/2015 22:34

Please God let him return to the UK soon and get a decent job instead of that cr@p. Surely he must be hoping that barely anyone but the die hard fans see it in the UK, much longer and he will struggle to make a dignified return to decent acting. Pray for OG2 to save him from terminal mediocity in period soap opera land.

pixieg1rl · 04/02/2015 22:34

I don't see what the problem is; BA up to his elbows in a big furry muff....

Paintedcherryblossoms · 04/02/2015 22:36

Rant ....mediocrity....damn spell check...in a bad mood Angry

cjwoofwoof · 04/02/2015 22:48

Aah well done Jen I do enjoy a Happy Ever After...

KeziaOAP · 04/02/2015 22:59

Looks good from the neck up......... I'm imagining him as CJ Wink

cjwoofwoof · 04/02/2015 23:08

Quite right Kez I'm imagining him from the neck down - without the Doris Day cape - wearing only a smile, lovely!

Richtea19 · 04/02/2015 23:09

jen fantastic ending to your story, I love a happy ending, perfection :)

I'm not sure about that picture.... There's a lot of curly hair, and fancy covering those gorgous forearms with tight black gloves. The cloak does look lovely and warm, I would be more than happy to tuck inside it! I'm just hoping that tomorrow nights episode of Reign, he might get on that bed alter with a few less clothes on Grin

Ilovelblue · 04/02/2015 23:37

Had a busy night doing a massive tidy up. Have a basket by the side of the bed where I keep "useful" papers such as recipes I've torn out of magazines intending to try but never do but of course all sorts of clutter ends up in there so tonight was the night where I had to sort through it. The house really is untidy generally (too much time on here, reading ff and watching OG - my excuse and I'm sticking to it).

Love all the ff. Onlygirl it was a beautiful ending - it gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside. Lola and PaintedCherry too - it's just a constant delight. I get withdrawal symptoms when there's no new stuff when I look in an evening and a few times a day at work but don't tell anyone.

A colleague of mine is going contracting in Newport. I managed not to tell him what a sh*thole it is and simply wished him well! The money he will earn will at least compensate for the lack of attractions in the town (city?).

I'm sorry but KA does not float my boat in the slightest. In fact, the whole thing makes me cringe and I can only assume that he's out there because he wants to break into America as it were. It's like one of us wanting to open a five star restaurant by starting work at KFC. I still believe we should mount a hostile takeover of his agency. They need sacking. What other celebrities do they look after - and hopefully look after better?

Ilovelblue · 04/02/2015 23:38

cherin and icemist did we decide on a Valentine card or have we shelved the idea?

Paintedcherryblossoms · 04/02/2015 23:56

ilove the company I work for has a branch in Newport, I go there quite a bit, am there next week.....when I talk to the staff the most exciting thing that is happening for them is that they are building a new Debenhams Confused
