She is a very good friend as she is really quite obsessed though I'm not sure as obsessed as me! She knows about my writing and has a good laugh, she has a far better grasp of grammar than me!! She did once comment that CJ has large nipples!!! We are just discussing the finer points of quassem too much alcohol :)

Hmmm, Quaseem is a lovely guy but not lovely in a CJ sort of way, sorry! Just a thoroughly nice, dependable sort of man.

Anyway, that's me done for tonight.

Painted cherry, too late to read FF bit will in morning, is this one that I've missed? All confuzzed!
orphan yes was pud, pavlova bit standard but always goes down well. Guests gone now and just about managed to stack wish washer. Ended up being listening to old songs and having a sing song. Always fun after a few glasses. Somehow I actual think I sounds like Barbara Streisand singing "Guilty" and desperately wanted DH to take on Barry Gibbs part..... All good fun x x

Wow onlygirl! Molly's reaction is spot on, I reckon! And tbh it would have spoiled the chapter to have put the qs in her. I can wait out!!

Snow all gone here, DH has a bit of a cold (which obviously means he is unable to do anything all day!), so church and then letting the kids run around outside and wear themselves out ... more mud! DD has decided that sliding along the ground (with her brother) as if you had scored the winning goal is the best way to enjoy playing football! Oh joy!!!

Oh to get a present from BA...

Just catching up again after a very busy (and hungover) Saturday.

Was so excited to see Laurieloves posting, I felt the need to bow down in her virtual presence. She was my first intro to the world of ff. Have just read your link to fb post too icemist, very well said.

No hangover today (I'm seriously considering giving up wine for good as it makes me feel so lousy afterwards) but DH wants us all to go for a bike ride. Deciding whether it would be too mean to feign 'a bit of a bad back today' and stay home alone to catch up on ff

Away to do the dishes - hubby is unable to do dishes when I am at work, apparently he can't leave the boys in sitting room to do them

Oh, onlygirl I think that may be my favourite chapter so far. I was completely absorbed and desperate to know how it would end. You built the tension so well; the weather reflecting their emotions running so high. Honestly, I'm in awe at your writing.

If only I could post a pic with a caption 'thanks @benaldridge'!! ( I know what I'd like to be thanking him for though, so maybe an accompanying pic wouldn't be a good idea...)

I might have to take DS to soft play, DP is lying on the sofa 'suffering' like a Victorian lady with an attack of the vapours. I got downstairs this morning to find DS watching frozen and not fed. I fear I may kill DP if I'm home all day.

richtea (or should I call you Barbara?) your typo made me laugh: wish washer! Sounds like you had a great night. Have to admit I like a bit of a sing song, but only after a few drinks. Have embarrassing memories of a girls night out, convinced I could sing 'oh what a night'. I couldn't.

Going to watch the Australian open now and cheer on Andy Murray. Now, imagine if he looked like CJ! I'd be petitioning for the come back of tight white tennis shorts.

I'd like a wish washer ... Can you sit on the settee and just wish it would fill and empty itself .... I think the rest of my family think that's how it works anyway! Think what other wish items we could have!

Thanks everyone! I'm managing a quiet morning, kids are playing quietly for a change and DH out for a run so I'm going to follow orphan's lead and watch some tennis. Maybe with a side helping of QS writing to keep me going..

nickel I need the same for the washin machine - DH seems to think that by putting clothes in the machine and switching it on that he has done a wash. The fairies must come and empty it and hang the clothes up to dry

just got back from bracing walk with dog, now settled on sofa with large latte about to read latest Fanfic, which since I'vever admitted to DO contains QS he now refers to as fanflic.

Mine used to think the wash fairies also picked the clothes up from the floor ... He now knows they don't, as I started to just leave them all where he drops them, by his side of the bed. Him not having any clean underwear seemed to do the trick!! That reminds me, must put the school shirts on .... !

Mmm, if only BA was playing the tennis cos the shots of Djokovic's bum when he's waiting to receive serve are quite inspiring.. If he stretched his legs any further apart or bent over any more, he'd tear his shorts!
