I'm fully prepared to get as obsessed about this as I did with The Missing.

I'm here. I got rather obsessed under old username on the missing thread too.

I'm a bit confused though, how will this work? There is no murder this time in broadchurch... So what is the thing they are going to solve???

Is it really true there's no murder then?! Someone mentioned this at work (I've not seen any adverts) - found it rather hard to believe they can do a series without murder.

Or does it mean there's no murder in the first episode?

I don't know... I think I saw it being discussed on tv somewhere saying they don't want it to become midsomer murders, so it won't have a murder this time round

I'm trying to think back now to what things could be clues.

Suppose the psychic guy could have a more twisted back story to him? I secretly want to believe real psychics exist but think it's just trickery

Wow I'm not making myself clear. Bunged up with flu/chest infection... What I mean is he knew a lot of stuff and wasn't explained how he knew it.

Or a spy and someone's in witness protection and he's trying to get them...

loved 1st series apart from ending, tbh was crap and not properly explained, bit like missing lol

Can someone very lovely and kind please refresh me on the sand brook case? Is it the one that kept coming to DT in flashbacks in the first series? I can't recall much about it.

Just started watching Broadchurch, but I didn't watch any of the first series. Does that matter? Is this one running on from the last one?

Well DT was right Blondes, gripped.

Brilliant programme and people probably find this odd but what adds to quality is excellent talent from composer, i love listening to his work

Also in need of rundown on 1st series please.
