I think Anna has that same anorak in beige. Where she's going to keep two massive coats in that flat I don't know. Can't hang them up on the stairs coatrack in case they get stuck in the stairlift.

I'm glad Anna got shirty with Owen re picking on Gary all the time. I'm glad Gary and Roy had a chat. Now Anna needs to make her peace with Roy. They can't work together with an atmosphere.

The barmaid who went off with the lorry drive (Charlie) was Tanya I think. My Dad used to really fancy her!

I felt quite moved by Gary and Roy's conversation. I actually quite like Gary and loved what he said about Roy seeming smaller. Roy is so vulnerable now.

It must be soap law that every NYE episode ends with Auld Lang Syne by revellers amongst a backdrop of other's pain and misery. I guess that is reflective of real life though.

I was really upset by Steve. I hope he gets help soon.

None of the children in Corrie seem to have had a really stable home-life, what with all the constantly changing father and mother figures involved; not to mention the different homes they are moved to . In fact Craig is doing best as Beth hasn't had a long stream of lovers, and Kirk is pretty steadfast. And Amy hasn't done too badly as Deirdre and Ken have always been around.

I agree. Simon is going to need some pretty intensive therapy when he grows.

Mum died when he was young. Alcoholic dad who was accused of murdering his babysitter and had a string of affairs including polygamy. Step mum is an ex-prostitute arsonist. Dads most recent girlfriend is probably the most stable but even she is an alcoholic, and it was her brother (who took Simon under his wing) who actually killed his babysitter.

I agree with the comment on Wednesday about David's Leeds accent. It's always grated on me.

The Kylie story is annoying and I hate her character and now the actress has gone on maternity leave, how would Callum fit into the show? I read he's in it for a year.
