Corrie thread - New thread for the New Year, time for another disaster?

New thread in time for the new year - hopefully this year will see the back of some awful characters.

I would personally like to see the following rounded up and shoved in a deep hole in the Red Rec:

Definite lack of continuity with Audrey / Liam. The one time Maria even mentions she has a son the babysitter is shown out on the G&T.

They did quite well at hiding Paula Lanes (Kylies) pregnancy. I mean you could tell she was pregnant, but she didn't look massive.

alya winds me up. and the pairing of her and Gary is so unrealistic it's laughable.

I hope beth and kirk stay happy and never split up as nearly all the other couples seem.to.

Poor Steve - I cannot believe that nobody has noticed his depression.

I quite like jazz hands Andrea in a pantomime dame sort of way.

Alya is such a little wagon, pretending that Sean and Julie knew she had taken the basque. Oh and the bit about, it might be another line for the factory...Hmm
Totally agree, she and Gary are a most unlikely couple.

I hated what Mary did to Roy when he called to her. He needed a friend, and she let him down.

I can't stand the fact that the new family have down graded and moved onto the street. How much money does that factory make? It employs enough people.

I've noticed the Eva actresses bump several times

Wonder when she is due and when she will go on mat leave as they can't even cover it up now!

She also does a proper pregnant walk imo

Yes, that's the easiest thing.

This is what annoys me re Kylie - we didn't need this stupid, stupid storyline. She just needed to stay with poorly Becky for a few months.

I hate the way David talks to Kylie like shit, then she leaves and he whines and mopes about it.

She is indeed stunning which makes her tryst with garrrreeeeehhhh even less believable. its not even as though he's a very nice person unlike chesneehhhh who managed to bag katy Grin

I don't know why we even have to be given a reason for them going - can't they just not appear on screen for a while but the other characters refer to them "oh she's gone home", "oh you just missed her" etc? It would be far more believable.

I didn't like the storyline at all for writing Kylie out. I also thought they could have just sent her off to Becky.
Although I do like Callum, baddie and all that he is!
It would have been a bit harder, I think, to just always have Deirdre out of the room, just gone upstairs (although Tracy did spend many years up there Grin).
Deirdre had been very central to the storyline with Peter and Rob, so not as easy to let her disappear, without some explanation.
It needed to be better than visiting Bev though.
I hope she is okay and that she is back soon.
