And of course, SPO, I miss the challenges ... ! (although my DS has been asking for limericks lately ... not OG/CJ ones ... ones about Christmas and going to school ... not as inspiring!!!)

There's nothing wrong with a few muscles in all the right places, Orphan, and imagine them encased in leather before the wrestling match begins. There's gonna be quite a crowd in front of that fire and heavens to Betsy when their leather accidentally falls off it could become quite a melee in there. That's the moment I would walk in and ask if they could help me with a fingertip search to find my contact lens...

Up early today and it's freezing. Maybe an early PT session with CJ would warm things up a bit. Re decompression and those folk who have dropped by the wayside, I don't really think I want to, truth be told. This is my free daily and guilt free pleasure...well almost guilt free except when I should be concentrating at work or doing Christmas stuff. You keep me going at the moment!

Thanks as well for your kind words re my elderly friend last night. It had been a depressing visit for sure.

Can't believe we're nearly on vol 7!! A few seem to have gone through decompression and SPO is in extended r'n'r but still updating the fan fic.
I mentioned watching an episode to my sister yesterday- her response "I guess so, I'm not really bothered" am going to sit with the laptop and play some YouTube clips
How can she not appreciate ^^

Morning all, maybe the busy of Christmas is getting in the way and they'll be back. I too don't want decompression. I'm only getting my daily watching fix by having it on the background when writing cards etc, which means it's all taking longer as I keep stopping to watch.
wonder what our new new resolutions will be?
I'm determined to keep getting fitter. If you'd told me that thinking about a fictional character telling me to stay focused and how MUCH keeps going would have made me push myself further than before I wouldn't have believed you!

icemist when you play an episode of OG to your sister, maybe you could you play the soundtrack on a continuous loop. It would be like brainwashing!

I miss SPO too, somehow I didn't feel to guilty lusting after another man (albeit a fictional character). Having SPO endorsed it and made it "alright".

Next episode of reign is 21/22 jan. You can just catch a glimpse of BA in trailer (from the back and it's a blink and you miss him)

Im certainly not ready for decompression, I haven't even had my DVD yet! Can't remember the last time I was so excited about father Christmas coming. And then I'll probably want the day to be over so I can start an uninterrupted O G marathon. But as I've mentioned before I've loved having this thread to keep me in OG frame of mind until the DVD, and we've covered so much on here, so thanks all.

Brilliant SPO, I'm sat on a cold bench in the middle of our high street, laughing my head off! Love it!

(This little kid just came up to me and smiled, and his mum looked at me very strangely ... Luckily no one I knew! But hey ho! Brightened my day up!)

I'm off on a school pantomime trip this afternoon, last minute they needed help. Thinking I'm might gonna have to leave my phone at home .... I can't sit on a coach for an hour and not look at this (30 annoying kids, checking in here would be too tempting), but I can't sit on a coach with 30 kids and laugh into my phone! Dilemma!!!

Just watched ep2 and halfway through ep3 and had to break off....

pixie, I have a request... I'd love to hear you do an internal monologue from Molly's point of view on the coca pops scene and the Roseybya scene. I know it's a huge ask, but I'd love your take on it. There's a serious shift in the dynamic between them in those scenes, a realisation. You can see it in Molly's face. It's also quite ethereal (made more so by the lighting), and kind of has feeling of being other worldly/out of time with real life at the FOB. And it's how he makes his moves that's so romantic! yes i'm a soppy teenager in disguise as a 30 something

I'd like to be able to write it, but mine would be bobby basic! No pressure pixie ;-)

(Think klipdoc did CJ's take on it in captain's log i think he did!?! but I much prefer your style and perspective. In fact if you fancy doing CJ's view too, that would be Christmas sorted for me!)

Loved the new zombie post. Fave part was the inclusion of the Aran jumper! But so, so clever SPO!!

If TG and the rest of the cast aren't reading your zombie saga it's their loss, it really is well done, no idea where you get the time, never mind the ideas!

I have been doing housework most of the day, in preparation for house guests over Christmas, but it has been made easier listening to OG soundtrack. Some of the tracks are so haunting. Whoever chose them were geniuses. Now a quick sit down before boys back to watch Ep 2, CJ bits! How can one man be so bloody handsome. I wonder if he is aware of how gorgeous he is?

Pixie can I second elsies request for more FF. I love your style of writing, so much better than others on there. Younhave already demonstrated that there is so much more than can be said in some of the scebes - hope mtg went well too!

nickel take your phone and then you can just look at images of CJ when all the kids get annoying!

A female colleague came to my desk to ask a question and whilst we were talking, my screensaver kicked in. I have dozens and dozens of different photos on there and only one of CJ (to annoy my male colleagues who rumbled my obsession). She said "Who's that?" and then said "Oh, it's him, can't remember his name, that army medic thing!" I thought at last I may have had a real person to discuss the obsession with. She'd clearly watched it! I asked her what she thought and she said "Yeah, it was ok, quite liked it" but didn't show any further interest. I don't think she realised I was also having a hot flush at the time!!

Thanks for your requests for more FF. It's very flattering. I'm not saying no, but it am working on something else right now. It's a bit different, more conversation, less reflective. I'm quite excited by it, but with the house move and crappy work I can only do a bit here and there.

It does have potential; cocoa pops, Rosabaya and MD leaving for R&R are all on the same day, so maybe cutting up the day between MD and CJ could be a goer.

PIXIE - yes, I would add my request for your writing to everyone else's. You're the best!

This does mean more research. OH very pointedly asked if if I needed to tell him something last time I watched OG...

Going home very soon to start off the meal for my friends - fed up of going out to be honest so close to Christmas so will be nice to entertain at home and can drink what I want. Drunken hostess? Hmmm. Hope my stag (aka venison) casserole goes down well. CJ was looking most tender marinaded overnight in red wine and rosemary! Hope he tastes as good.

Taking a leaf out of icemist's book and having OG on the television as the first of them arrive. Actually thinking of the restaurant scene, then I can casually drop into conversation about going there in February. Am doubtful any of them were OG watchers but you never know. If nothing else, it will spark a conversation about next year's holidays maybe.

May or may not be back later, by which point we will be on thread VII I presume.
