Just saw it on that group that's called our girl anonymous. I think they do a lot of twittering as well. Apparently someone met a BBC writer who seemed to think it had been recommissioned. Who knows.

Ooh I'm not going to build my hopes up for a second series just to be disappointed, especially as I'm not sure a second series would come upto my expectations after all the brilliant MN fanfic we've seen on here and all the input on this thread regarding the paths we want CJ and MD to take. I certainly can't contemplate CJ without his headset and combats if it's written he has left the army and turned into a clingy has-been full of regrets and jealous of MD's successful career etc. And what if BA refuses to reprise the role coz of his success in Reign? I defo couldn't cope with that. OG without CJ is unthinkable.

Exactly. No point having OG without CJ. And if he's not going to be in combats I'd rather he stayed in his leather leggings in Reign rather than hanging round Bath in posh chinos

Someone met a BBC writer? Presumably not TG though? think I would take it with a pinch of salt ... surely it would have been announced officially? Or TG would know? Would some random writer really know first and then just be telling someone??!?! Sorry to sound cynical, but would rather not get my hopes up either. Agree that it would need to have CJ and MD , not sure if it can be as good as the first series, but I am also sure that TG would do it justice if it did get another series (he'd be afraid of being linched by the FB lot!!).

I've got it ready to go on FF, just need to write some blurb and decide on a title. Any suggestions?

pixie fab bit of writing. Am excited that you're going to continue - nothing like some good OG fan fic to enliven the day. I agree with you cherin that I look forward more to the next zombie instalment than klipdoctor's! Whilst some of the fan fic is starting to feel drawn out, spo's is gripping and leaves you begging for more.

cjwoof 'cousin' Rupert has to be the Rupert Friend of Homeland and not his previous roles where he's looked a bit effete. He has to give CJ a run for his money in the wrestling, although of course as you said, CJ comes out on top (so to speak).

I'll have to have a look at the Strike Back pair...

Dp is just about to bring our tree in from outside and set it up. I'm bracing myself for lots of expletives muttered under his breath as he struggles to get it straight whilst keeping the needles on. Our cat has already patted a crucial part of the tree stand under the sofa. I'm meant to be wrapping presents but have got distracted by this thread. Oh what fun!

I am certainly not getting my hopes up for a second series of OG. I'm not sure if LT or BA would even be in it, BA has probably got so much work lined up and LT stuck in Eastenders. I am more than happy to read the FF. Pixie you have been able to cover all the thoughts that we had about that scene. We knew there was more there. Brilliant , thank you.

Icemist Ep 2 for your sister, how can she resist the wink during the duet. Hopefully she will be hooked, but if not we will be there. I will be sneaking upstairs for respite from my family for my CJ and MN fix over the holidays.

orphan you seriously have to check out those Strike Back boys. Not great acting, but my god bodies to die for!!! The one that plays a US solider (his actually Australian) is normally jumping in and out of bed with some gorgeous girl!.... Loads of bare bottoms!!!

Hi all - thanks for thinking of me, I should have said that my appointment is not till this evening (thank you, health insurance)! I never really finished my bit off for our four parter on the Bashira suicide vest thing but if you are nearly ready to publish, I will go over and edit it again. Can somebody let me know? I thought we needed Smurf's POV which was going to be SPO of course.

beingfrank - private healthcare is amazing. I used mine fairly recently. The whole thing has come to £1,700 - gulp! Good job we only have to pay the first £150 from work. Good luck.

Quite right orphan, only the Rupert in Homeland is welcome at the wrestling match coz he's a bit of a cockwomble in some roles he's done. I'd also like to see Idris Elba as the towel man who accidentally loses his clothes whilst mopping CJ and Rupert down, if that's ok.

Back safe and sound and had a good going over (mammogram, ultrasound) and three cysts drained. I have loads of them apparently, but the one causing the trouble got infected, hence becoming so noticeable so quickly. So I have a clean bill of health thankfully and can focus up on other things - OG, Christmas preparations etc. Thank you for all your thoughts and good wishes!
