Beingfrank you must be so relieved (as are we for you). You can get so screwed up thinking "What if". Concentrate on Christmas now. The pain was worth it tonight to get it sorted. I hate mammograms (well only had one but am in no rush for another).

I'm sitting here needing some light relief as I went to visit my elderly friend (hardcore porn) with the very poorly husband. He is in such a bad way (Parkinson's, dementia and other problems with side effects caused by the drugs) that I go round thinking she wants something else to take her mind off it all, albeit for only an hour or two but tonight, all she did was complain. I know she's very stressed but with the best will in the world, I don't want to know about his incontinence and hallucinations. It's not that long since I lost my Mum and it all got a bit much. I did hold it together, but only just. I tried to adopt that lovely face CJ has when he is listening to Molly in the med tent, just before he whips out his pen asking for Rosabaya, but in my case whilst adopting the face, I was also thinking what to do for a pudding tomorrow night for my guests!

The only amusing bit was when she mentioned the internet and I said "I can find that for you on my phone" and she wanted to know whether mine was an iphone or smartphone and how they worked. As I unlocked the screen, up came my very favourite photo of CJ and I expected her to question me as to who he was but she was more interested in how to search on Google! Had she asked who he was, I may have mentioned more about our fanfiction etc but she was much too in complaining mode even to listen properly.

Off to read Pixie's latest offering now.

Glad for you beingfrank, now you can concentrate on Christmas and forget all things medical.

Ilove well done for holding it together. Your friend probably looks forward to your visits coz you're so understanding and sympathetic so just keep smiling and thinking of CJ in his combats looking very sternly at you and saying "I need you now"!

I'm not much of a friend though if all I do is moan and whinge to anyone who will listen when I come away though, am I? I should try to be understanding and I'm not entirely sure I am.

Pixie the quality and depth of your writing is soooo good compared to some of the OG ff. Some of the stuff on there is total (stag)pants! I knew you'd be brilliant, well done. Now double away and get cracking on the next blockbuster

ilove we are all here for you to unload on any time, I think you are being a really good friend, it's not always easy to listen to someone complaining but as pixie says, she must be glad to have someone who listens to her.
By the way pixie , did you come up with a title for your piece? I can't think of anything that would do it justice!

Great news beingfrank. Why don't you celebrate with an extra helping of CJ?

I'm not sure about the strike back boys richtea and Cjwoof Am I looking at the right pair - season 5? They're quite muscly and I think I prefer a leaner look - CJ is perfect. Not so keen on big bulgy arms, although I liked Richard Armitage in season one and he's quite chunky. I don't know why I stopped watching; I think I just forgot about it which is something that would never happen with CJ! However, I do agree they would be good in a supportive capacity in the wrestling and maybe useful to ensure CJ/Rupert/Richard don't get too close to the fire. A stray spark could cause a lot of damage...

I wonder if spo can be persuaded to include some naked wrestling in the zombie fic? Although naked and SHAAtt makes me feel slightly queasy.

Ooh, that's a good thought orphan. I was wondering whether he would get Molly (or CJ?) in leather ....

I'm sitting up in bed and just snorted when I read that orphan! How can I explain naked and SHAAtt in the same sentence to DH who already thinks I am mad and obsessed with OG/CJ, and MN!

Yes agree the Strike Back duo are rather muscly, not like our mean lean sex machine CJ, but when the new series is back I shall be tuning in, mainly for the naked scenes, me shallow, never!!!

I am on Episode 8 of the new season 6 which is currently being shown in the US. I am watching on the iPad through a site called Losmovies.com. Completely safe, sometimes get adverts that you just have to exit out of. It's sooooo good!

Feeling rather maudlin, thinking of the previously regular posters who are 'silent' now. Can't help wondering what they're doing - probably getting on with RL and not picturing firelit naked wrestling matches! I do hope spo comes back to us soon. It was good having a male voice amongst us (and he was so brill at stats of course!).

I suppose the earlier posters have gone through decompression. I'm not ready. I still have my daily photo fix, thanks to icemist, and a regular tumblr Google daily search. And the occasional watch of an episode, not so much at the moment as Christmas is getting in the way. Think I'll be here for a while !

Who'd have ever imagined at the start of this thread that it would be careering towards vol VII??! Do you think some people (and I think I may be one) are just immune to the decompression virus?

I was thinking about people who used to be on here too ... they must be much more determined to return to reality than me! Although I think I would miss you guys on here more than I would miss watching OG at the moment! I like my daily fix of icemists pics, and the mad world of lovely photos, leather, fanfic, nakedness, operation bulge ... oh, hang on, maybe I am beginning to realise why they have left us to our imaginings! Yeah, right!!!?!

Do miss SPO though, it was really good to have a male perspective to keep us on the straight and narrow ... wondering what you are thinking about our ramblings now, SPO ... ?!
