cjwoofwoof I was the same, just watched episodes 1 and 2, full obsession kicked in after episode 3. I am now never going to be able to look at a Swiss roll and keep a straight face ever again!

Richtea19 · 14/12/2014 10:32

If your reading this SPO, another fantastic chapter. Well done.

icemist hope your hubby makes it up to you today. Mine always falls asleep of the sofa when he comes in drunk from night out, I always leave him there as I get a better nights sleep!

Off to London today, so eyes will be peeled for possible BA sighting, you never know? Do you think he will be at home in Devon for Christmas? Do any of you live that way? Just thinking of a new mission.. :)

icemistOBE · 14/12/2014 10:43

He slept on the couch - is easier as he can sleep it off. His dad is getting his coat!

I think BA would go home, from the photos he has on FB he seems to be very close to his family. Don't think we'll ever know though.

firegirl · 14/12/2014 11:33

Just read chapter 8 of SPOs fanfic. So funny. I really hope TG has seen it, and I think the cast would find it amusing too.
icemist agree that BA will probably be in Devon for christmas but hopefully he'll stop off in London first to sign your photo?

icemistOBE · 14/12/2014 11:52

His flight will land at Heathrow, (if he's not back already) and I guess he'd need to go to wherever he lives and to his agency. Apparently the agent keep all correspondence and then forward it to whoever its for. I do hope he signs it! Will be a lovely Christmas present to receive Xmas Grin. think these days its too much to risk not sending things back as you'll only get slated on all the social media (no matter how much you use them) for not caring about your fans.

cjwoofwoof · 14/12/2014 14:01

Ooh icemist that headgear pic this morning is THE one for me, absolutely adore that shot forever. Getting into Christmas finally. Cards written and posted - jackpot, tree up and decorations thrown on - jackpot, food shopping list written out - jackpot, MIL visit done, presents given, hopefully avoid til after 27th - jackpot. Plenty of time left to devote to CJ - double jackpot!

Nickel45 · 14/12/2014 14:20

Not that you've been thinking about it at all, icemist!?!
You sound well sorted cjwood, I've done some cards, no presents but am about to go to a christingle service this afternoon ... Hopefully it will inspire me to get myself sorted tomorrow!
cherin, I have a request ... When you get your shiny new paper and pencils, can we have a christmas stag, please? Tinsel or fairy lights in his antlers with the tape measure would do me :) I'm trying hard to find the Christmas spirit (no, not that kind of spirit!)

cherin · 14/12/2014 15:40

Ahahahah!! Yes of course will do!! Left my kit (drawing kit, I mean) in the office before the escapade to Dorset...will try it out tomorrow!!
Am also low in Xmas spirit. And deep into laundry. (How on earth am I supposed to wash that amount of mud from DS football stuff?? Socks are fully coated, with grass too...)
Weird year this one for Xmas
But somehow will do. Maybe if I bake apples with raisins and cinnamon the smell will inspire me..

cjwoofwoof · 14/12/2014 15:59

Hmm not much action on the present buying front chez Woofwoof. What to buy teens who have everything and a DH who never appreciates anything like socks or stag pants? Decided to buy nowt for him this year, see if he appreciates THAT. Need to tell him soon or he might go out and spend a fortune on presents for me not

cjwoofwoof · 14/12/2014 16:21

Cherin please can we have a stag drawing wearing soft leather trousers and holding a goblet...just for research purposes to see if the Tudor look is equal to the modern day stag look? A nice lacy billowy shirt slashed to his withers would be a good enhancement.

orphan · 14/12/2014 16:36

cherin is clutching his cutlass going too far? And remember Tudor stag is a bad boy so maybe a wicked glint in his eye.

Finally got tree (didn't manage it yesterday as planned) and yes, it did take the obligatory hour of examining each and every one available. Of course, spotted the perfect specimen with a reserved label attached. Sooo tempted to swap it but Christmas spirit prevailed.

cjwoofwoof · 14/12/2014 16:44

Yes Orphan goblet in one hoof, cutlass in the other and a very stern bad boy face, maybe with heaving/panting nostrils? Or is that just too far? I'll settle for a furrowed brow if snarling is too much. Can Tudor stags wear a headset? Say a leatherette headband for keeping the antlers in check? Poor cherin, so much detail required but I know you'll be brilliant.

icemistOBE · 14/12/2014 16:52

ooh i'm liking the sound of tudor stag, with the billowing shirt and tight trousers, goblet in one hand and sword in the other...

Ilovelblue · 14/12/2014 16:53

Just back from a long, long lunch with a group of former colleagues. I stay in touch with a couple of them regularly but the others it's one of those once a year events. Wasn't especially looking forward to it but it went better than expected. One of the ladies is a very well travelled individual and I happened to mention Bailbrook House. Didn't mention OG (that would so NOT be her bag and she would have thought I had totally lost the plot if I confessed my addiction to it) but did say it had been in a television programme a number of weeks ago. Her ears pricked up and she asked which programme was it. I vaguely waved my hands in the air and said it was a TV drama. Her face fell - she had thought it was a travel programme. She perked up a bit though when I said it got good reviews on Tripadvisor and is supposedly in the top 10 hotels in Bath.

One more Christmas meal to go yet but that's a get-together here at home so I probably need to do some advance preparation for that tomorrow! At least I can drink what I want!!

Cherin - I think you could market your own Christmas cards. Maybe it's something else we could pitch to Dragons Den?

cjwoofwoof · 14/12/2014 17:01

Good idea Ilove, a set of 12 stag themed Christmas cards:- Tudor all leather stag, modern full combat stag, soft sexy alluring stag, very stern and bossy stag, lumberjack shirt and gloved stag...any more?

cjwoofwoof · 14/12/2014 17:05

Ooh forgot legs akimbo, hooves folded stag...

Ilovelblue · 14/12/2014 17:06

Don't we need at least one of "stag and doe"?

cjwoofwoof · 14/12/2014 17:07

And shot and wounded stag with bandaged left leg on front of card...then bandaged right leg when you open the card.

cjwoofwoof · 14/12/2014 17:08

Oops yes forgot the all loved up stag/doe on the staircase card.

Ilovelblue · 14/12/2014 17:15

Oooh, not sure about the shot and wounded stag - it's not very festive except that you might eat venison at Christmas!!

Actually, that's what we're going to have for our main course on Tuesday. I had better NOT think of CJ whilst cooking it later tonight, nor when I'm eating it. The contents of a bottle of red wine should help to tenderise it!

cjwoofwoof · 14/12/2014 17:19

Dunno about you Ilove but I'd have no trouble eating CJ for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Maybe not wounded stag then, how about hospitalised stag still looking beautifully handsome despite the tubes and gown revealing a wonderous rear view.

icemistOBE · 14/12/2014 17:29

Giggling... Some of the crazy our girl lot - Danny Cohen (director at bbc) has blocked them. Guess they did get on his nerves Wink

Ilovelblue · 14/12/2014 17:30

Oh, I reckon I could manage a little nibble! Lol. Just been watching the hospital scenes but now on the best bits of episode 4. CJ has just got rid of Smurf and is telling her he wants her to be the last thing he sees. big sigh - it gets me every time.

Ilovelblue · 14/12/2014 17:31

icemist is the Facebook lot or the Twitter lot?

icemistOBE · 14/12/2014 17:50

Twitter - but it's the same people. I feel a bit mean giggling but it did tickle me.
