SPO. Brilliant. I can't stop laughing. This Zombie FF is fantastic, soft measuring.... when I read it I was imagining Orphan and I looking like the picture I drew! ( that was scary). SHAAtt!!!!! So funny. Well done.

I love at the end of the chapter you leave it with a question. It reminds me of an American program that I used to watch years ago called "Soap". That was a spoof sitcom.

SPO you really should preface your chapters with a warning - serious damage can be done when you inadvertently spit your morning tea out whilst laughing...
Can richtea and I now call ourselves literary muses? Am already picturing the documentary about your lauded literary career, and all of us being interviewed and reminiscing about how it all started. cherin would be filmed in her art studio as well and talk about how her original illustrations for your series of zombie novels are now in the hands of reclusive, millionaire art collectors.

A work colleague came up just now to ask about our charity stuff we are doing at the moment. Confessed I haven't had as much time as usual but didn't admit why. Said I'd had a DVD on a loop to keep me going. She reckons she's a film buff so looked interested but her face fell when I said it was a TV series. I whipped out a photo of CJ and asked her how you could fail to be inspired by him. She just frowned and said 'not my type sorry'. Felt almost offended!

It just beggars belief that some people don't find him attractive! Perhaps that's the definitive test for seeing whether someone is a normal functioning human or a cleverly disguised android/alien trying to infiltrate our society.

You've missed your calling SPO! Whatever job you're doing now quit immediately!

Brilliant! This particular chapter had everything - reminiscent of the Walking Dead (pet zombies on a lead for those who've not watched it!), a touch of Scoobydoo and a hint of Miranda with the fantastic interweaving of the measuring farce!! Bravo! More pls! Double away!!

elsie Measuring farce? I'm mortally offended! I read it as an accurate depiction of two professionals who live and die by the precision of their soft tape measuring. The giggling was purely their sheer delight in their job.

spo was reading it again whilst on the bus, and started giggling by myself and suddenly lots of room around me :-)

Ha! It was so good I had visions of you two cornering CJ in a cubicle...his eyes darting from side to side looking frantically for the quickest escape route!

It's a shame it looks like sherlock will beat OG, but given that none of us know anyone in RL who watched it, maybe not entirely surprising. Hopefully the fact it got this far will make the BBC sit up and take notice?I finally succumbed and looked at the Facebook group . . . Do they do nothing else? Someone even mentioned pulling a sickie to be able to vote all day. So hopefully again! Not really my bag. Anyway, I'm back in work today so should probably look at my computer rather than my phone, deadline for tomorrow so head down today. Have a good day all

Morning all. Thank you so much for your kind comments on the latest chapter. They motivate me to do more!

Now on a more serious note I have to tell you that RL priorities mean that I am going to have to go into lurking mode for the foreseeable future. Don't worry nothing serious or life threatening. I will be out there reading, laughing and hoping for a second series. I will also try and find time to do more fan fic and would like to keep publishing it as CJ collective if that is ok?

icemist don't know the best way of doing that. Can I load it up myself or is it best to post it on here for you to do?

Anyway. You are all brilliant. Carry on the madness please cos I will be checking and remember to stay focused, stay alert and stay incognito!

Sitting in Kwik fit, as I have a puncture in the tyre of my hire car! Let's not go there!!!!! And I'm reading SPOs FF again. It gets more hilarious each time I read it. I have to state that I'd Orphan and I were doing said task, I would be done in such a professional manner, maybe a few giggles....
I wonder what people will make of it that read it who are not part of this! They are missing so much.
I love the idea that cherins original art work will be bought up by a crazy millionare, The Getty Foundation perhaps???

Hey, my artwork is available to any millionaire willing to put his hands on it...but I am afraid the adjective CRAZY used earlier to describe him was well placed ;-) nobody else would do it!!
Still, the idea of an art studio brightens my mood (can I pair is with a sewing room and stitch/crochet stags heads to put onto Ken bodies??)
