Yeah, it's next week's episode that has the really interesting things in! This week's only has mild interest.

Aaaaaargh!!!!! WHAT ABOUT THE CAST LIST!!!!!!!??? THere's only 4 chuffing names on it. THe Hughes & the Baptistes. And why is Scottish boy so significant? I can't find him appearing after Ep1. I'm really clever, honest.... I just can't get the cryptic clues in this thread.

A thought on 2009: could Tony have been tried for murder in France and then acquitted (either at original trial on on appeal?)

I'm hoping they have just used the same actor for two roles, although realise that's unlikely. It will teach me not to go looking at cast lists again!

Well, if she is anything like me she saw the opportunity for a bit of childfree time with her book, but maybe her motives were more sinister!

I watched episode one again and confess to some judgeypanting about how, if they'd only been more assertive parents, they wouldn't have given in to his 'pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease' and taken him back to the hotel to bed after dinner and the whole thing wouldn't have happened!

Also, Emily's shorts were awful. Or did we all own a pair back in 2006?

Possibly, if the intended target was James and the gang were seizing the opportunity to abduct him, not realising it was the wrong British father/5yo they had spotted.

You coukd technically be scottish and have a french name though.... just saying!!
