Just back from mamouth gym session, warm up run, body combat and body pump. Monopod, maybe I should invest in combat trousers for my training? Think I will get a bit hot though.

Had to use my sat nav this morning and was thinking how much nicer it would be if CJ was giving me the directions. I tend to go wrong even when being directed, but I don't think I'd mind CJ saying "Turn right in 250 yards... I said turn right you cockwomble! Recalculating.... Stay focused, stay alert, turn RIGHT!!"

Also, does being 'top' poster mean I'm actually worst mum and partner?!

monopod I am happy to join in with the chain story but, like you, I am a bit short of time right now. If anyone else wants to do the first few paragraphs I am happy to be nominated later on this evening and will contribute! (please keep it clean though, folks - I 'aint Laurie Love, blush, blush)

Orphan that is a great idea. Perhaps that should be one of the gift items on sale on the advertising pages of the OG annual! There could be a his and hers version with Molly shouting "Oy! You dozy Wanker - turn left!"

I agree, CJ should definitely be in uniform, but I just imagine the checked shirt CJ. Works for me! If there was a series 2, he would absolutely have to be in uniform for it to work.

Love the idea of a chain story, but might have to pass, I'm not so good at that. I'll review it though?!!

Would definitely be up for a CJ sat nav. Ooh. Never had a sat nav, always preferred a map, but could definitely listen to CJ telling me what to do!!

Afternoon- quick visit on lunch to catch up.
There is a fan fiction, that has CJ and Molly not together after the 'missed me' It's started off good- I'm interested to see how it continues. Bet they'll end up together anyway...
Interesting Klipdoctor. Glad he's toned down Molly's speech- much better to read. not 100% sure on it, but was enjoyable.

I personally like the narrative approach more than the log style, I found the diary a bit sterile to be honest, whilst the Miss me and the latest one were very enjoyable, I could almost hear and see the characters...(so thank you klipdoctor, and please keep on writing!)
Off to some serious house cleaning now. But if I get the inspiration, I'll jot down a paragraph. Clean like my house (ahahahah!)

Cherin, cute deer! There's a garden centre near where we live that have some reindeer you can visit. I might have to pursuade the boys to come to see them.

Monopod, great idea to do a chain story. I don't think my writing is good enough! I do have a rather crazy imagination though generally its all going on in my head, which I why I don't sleep well!!! I would love to read some others though.

I have just read Klipdoctor, I did enjoy it. Although I seem to be reading it as a separate story and I can't imagine MD and CJs faces :( I read all of Threadneedles suggestions last night, some are really good. I can't seem to find the erotica one though? Not sure if it was FanFic or tumblr?

Sat Nav is another great piece of merchansing, I would program CJ to take me home....... I wonder if we could program him to say what wanted???

Afternoon all! mono interesting idea of a chain story. Happy to give it a go if someone starts it off and the deadline isn't too tight!

Love the idea of a satnav. Agree Rhubarb that there must be a Molly voice option. She would start off nice and reassuring saying 'I'll get you there, don't worry' but when I go wrong she would shout 'not that way you prannet!'. When she then has to recalculate the route she would say 'that's a whole different ball bag'.

Soooo, tomorrow I have to be an ambassador of my profession (I do have a day job!), at a girl secondary school somewhere north of the norther circular. I can already see the rolls of laughter of these girls when they'll see me coming, and moreover speak in my very unbritish accent....do you think, honestly, that if I do a James and start with a "does it really take you so long, you mass of cockwombles, to sit down and listen" I will be arrested?? I might gonna need to practice my arm-folded, legs-apart stance. With kids it doesn't work, for some reason...

Can't beleive I haven't mentioned this before, did anyone watch "Strike Back" on Sky1? It was a beefed up OG, SAS style. The original lead was played by Richard Armitage. Think he got killed off in season 2? The new two male leads are VERY hunky. SPO the women in season 3? Is pretty sexy too, tight vest with an AK47!

Very action packed and all the army stuff but not OG. Loads of fight em up scenes, bare bottoms - loads of shagging (if you like that sort of thing?????)

Think new season coming back soon (5) , well worth watching.

Unsuccessful on the combat trouser front due to my big but and not much stock. Did learn that army trousers come with 3 measurements -waist, Inside leg and seat and it was fun being surrounded by all the camouflage stuff, also saw the big black bags they have.

On the fanfiction front, I wonder the reason why CJS is harder to get sounding right, Is that there isn't much civvy dialogue to go on n what there is is charged with nerves and sexual tension.
Am enjoying it though. We've got a literacy drive this week where we sit with the kids and everyone reads. They are allowed kindles though not sure I'd be in a fit state to teach after 30 mins of reading fanfiction, particularly Laurielee!!
Maybe we should work on a plot synopsis to convince the BBC to commission season 2 - maybe MD doing some more medical training then being posted out to West Africa, I'm sure I saw on the news thy the army were helping to build ebola treatment centres, so it could include stiff on one of the engineering corps. As much as I love CJ in kit, It would probably make more interesting plot line with him being the one left behind, along with the personal story of them developing their relationship, meeting each other's parents etc.

TG every day about a second series. To be honest, I think it's a bit much, surely it isn't down to TG anyway? I completely agree that we should make our feelings know but if I was whoever gets all this at the bbc it would really piss me off by time. Anyway, back to screaming kids in the bath (sorry, probably why this sound a bit harsh, but I'm sure you know what I mean!! Hopefully!). Best go before they kill each other!

Was doing some phone calls today. One to the bank and one to EDF. I had OG on the computer while I was on hold. I think its the first time I was quite happy to be on hold for ages. I was quite put out when I actually had to speak to someone!

I'm so used to watching OG on my iPhone its quite a revelation to see CJ on a decent sized screen
