OMG!!! I've been too frightened to check back on here til now sorry, real life intervened last night so missed the moment of announcement.
Well, I'm amazed and horrified. How can I have gone from never ever posting in my life before to being the most prolific poster? Does that mean I'm a natural?!
Anyway, of course massive thanks go to all you lot for 'inspiring' me and last but certainly not least, the King of Lip Twitch and Low Slung Trouser, Captain James!
And just for nickel a celebratory poem will follow, once I've recovered from the shock.

OK, (already living up to my most prolific poster award, post number 4 ) hers my celebratory limerick. Not my finest, but swigging victory champagne at this time in the morning tends to have a detrimental effect...

All I can say is it would have been a very different story if SPO had been looking at quality rather than quantity!

Have decided that only the real deal will do so am off to the army surplus shop later to get some combat trousers. Have seen various ones on ebay but not sure of the sizing. Haven't decided whether just to be brazen not honest, pretend they are for dog walking/camping or half way lie saying the're for a friend's hen do who is OG obsessed.

Love the new klipdoctor, and, more importantly (well, maybe?) I reckon he's listened to our comments about how Molly talks. Thank you klipdoctor (feel free to join in the discussions on here, if you haven't already!).

Right a massive pile of ironing beckons, so reckon I can justifiably watch at least an episode of OG ... Never has ironing been so appealing!!

Interesting reading SPO thanks for your efforts. Also wanted to thank you for initiating and encouraging other activities on here, researching rhyming slang and even trying to put it to use, writing limericks, anagrams, poetry... you've made us engage our brains!

Aw, I didn't like klipdoctor's latest offering. I did like the banter of 2 Section but something just didn't sit right with me in terms of CJ and Molly talking about their relationship? I'm probably being a grumpy old woman though, and admittedly I did read it all in a rush while my colleagues were out of the office this morning (because I am impatient, and also I forgot my phone and therefore can't look at this thread surreptitiously...).

So, got some catching up to do. Congratulations orphan, richtea and nickel! And thank you for all the giggles. Orphan I bow down to your rhyming prowess. SPO thumbs up for the valiant data gathering and analysis! And of course to icemist for the photos.

I reckon the next writing challenge should be the opening paragraphs of a fabulous, loin-firing new Molly & CJ fanfic...

apsara03 on the combat trouser front I decided I couldn't pull off full camo so went for olive green instead. Then I realised it didn't match anything in my wardrobe (camo would have been worse) so obviously I had to make a follow-on purchase of lots of black and grey tops. Also they're too big, so my belt is the only thing holding them up. Pity no one is going to be interested in low-slung combats on me

Ok, your task for today, OG Collective - should you choose to accept - is to do a chain story, each person writing a paragraph of a new OG fanfic and nominating the next person to undertake the challenge (so we don't end up with multiple arcs, which although undoubtedly hugely entertaining would be impossible to keep track of).

My lunch break is nearly over so unfortunately I can't play now, but does anyone want to start?! First person to volunteer gets to pick the theme/setting, then the plot is up to the collective...

monopod - I think I am with you on the new chapter from klipdoctor. It was ok(ish) but I think my main problem is that I struggle to picture CJ in anything but a uniform. Do I really see him in civvie street? When I think hard about that fact, it makes me worry about whether I would appreciate a second series as fully as I should. Oh no!

(Like you as well, I've had to sneak a look at this in working time when colleagues were busy on other things).

I can't take up the challenge today as school is closed and I have bleeders around. But I took the oldest under my charge and running earlier! Lots of "stay with me" and "are you giving me your 100%?" To which I got mostly raised eyes, puffs and pants, and request for hot chocolate as a response.
He got the hot chocolate, though, as 6km are not for everybody. He walked 60% of it, but it was still a bloody good effort :-))
