I've been resisting thinking in limericks today. Ive been out shopping, but there is a severe lack of anything stag-ish in the shops near here ... And I've been looking! Probably explains why I didn't actually get much shopping done. Well that and the two little bleeders and hubby I had to take with me. I should have stayed at home and thought up anagrams and limericks!

Been Christmas shopping again today but with DH and MIL...

Loads of stag stuff in John Lewis. Tried to interest DH in a check shirt, but he wasn't having any of it. As we walked past thr Nespresso section in John Lewis I mentioned Rosabaya was my favourite type of coffee, in the hope I would make eye contact with another fan - nothing. My conclusion is that all the hardcore (was that ilove?) OG fans are on this site or reading and about to join in!

Love the idea of R&R in bath. For those that can't come we can do a Skype/FaceTime call but wearing headsets.

You are all heroes...I would not be dragged around to do Xmas shopping for love or money. Especially not with the kids in tow!! No way...hard enough the daily version, as it is...
(Maybe its the idea of the London shopping? Maybe out of London is better? Surely Bath is perfect and peaceful ;-)

Can you get prosthetic plaits smurfing? I may struggle otherwise!

I think for you we can accept a headscarf like smurf or Quaseem! But I don't do plaits either. If I dig carefully in the wardrobe I may find the burqa I had to use when I was in Saudi ;-) I can do a Molly-in-Kabul!!

Shopping is bearable when lunch and a glass of wine is involved! DH does shopping twice a year, christmas and my birthday!

firegirl oooooh legs akimbo in his quarters is My Absolute Favourite Shot! The bit on my TV recording is a bit wonky now as I've possibly overplayed it!

apsara I got my pants! Been to visit some people I didn't really want to waste sn afternoon on but at least I could get the stag pants en route. Happy to get some for you if necessary. Postage will be very minimal I guess.

No stag pants in my local Sainsbury's It is next door to an army reserves training centre, so I got to see some young men in fatigues by way of compensation.

richtea love the poem! We've nearly got enough for the first volume of the Our Girl Poetry Anthology (a perfect present for a loved one). I can see the tv adverts now: roaring log fire, stockings hanging from the mantel piece and a French plait, stag pants wearing, 'young' (ok, middle aged) woman sitting in an armchair, leafing through the volume, a discarded coco pops bowl by her side. A strikingly toned combat trousered man (that's you SPO of course) leans over her shoulder, reading whilst sipping his Roasabaya.

These pants are a bit high, isn't it? Not quite compatible with low slung combat trousers! That may explain why they don't do them in male version ;-)

I'm getting lost in FanFiction, it's addictive! Dinner will be late tonight.

Yes a poetry and prose book. The concept of the TV ad is perfect. A great rival for this years Sainsburys and John Lewis.

Ooh BA has been in Twitter again. He's favourited a tweet. Must be getting a bit easier for him now. There's definitely not as many tweets for him as there was.

Nice advert conceptorphan. We would of course have to blow the entire budget on the CGI to make me appear strikingly toned!

Just updating the stats on the race for most posts in the week and with 4 hours to go we have a clear leader, with the battle really for second place. More later!

I'd be happy to hear from you all on your personal faves (some are appalling!). I'm still appreciating My Man and others in that series, smut fest, but well written too!
