very confused- looks like he's killed the main suspect- but he can't have because that was 2006 and present day he's on his yacht and his wife is in a psychiatric hospital. (superb acting by Diana Quick- didn't recognise her.)

I think Ian's wife has dementia and the boat is just in her mind. Ian is def dead killed by tony.
