After the discussion about Ollie's scarf I couldn't resist watching the relevant bit of the first episode (it's still on i player).
First you see the family in the restaurant. Ollie isn't wearing the scarf, but I think there is something yellow on top of a bag on one of the seats. Ollie and Tony go back to the hotel to get swimming stuff.
Then you see Ollie and Tony at the pool. Afterwards you see Tony rub Ollie's hair dry with a yellow towel, it's too big to be the scarf.
At the bar Ollie isn't wearing the scarf but does have a bag over his shoulder. I don't think that Tony is carrying a bag so presumably the bag contains both of their swimming costumes and towel - and the scarf?
Ollie then disappears.
What I found more interesting than trying to spot the scarf was the fact that a man with short white/grey hair walks past the pool and looks at Ollie and Tony whilst they are playing. This man looks similar to one of the men at the garage where the car was being fixed earlier in the day.
There were two men at the garage. First we see a man with white-grey hair, who walks past Ollie as he is balancing on a beam, looks at him and sort of tickles him as he walks past. Then we see a younger man looking at the car engine. Man with white-grey hair stands in the background as younger man recommends Hotel Eden to Ollie's family, so man with white-grey hair knows where they are staying.
The wife of the couple who own Hotel Eden reminds her husband that he has a meeting shortly after Ollie's family arrives.
Anyone else think any of this is significant? Or am I reading too much into it?
