Corrie thread - still no sign of Cilla or Fat Brenda but Kim Tate on the horizon

Here we are again - a brand new thread for more Corrie ramblings.

Can't believe Cilla still hadn't turned up by the end of the last thread.

Still hoping for an enormous cast-cull. Hoping for a bomb / gas explosion / serial killer / all of the previous.

I thought Leanne was only at the kebab shop while Chesney etc. were on holiday, but last week she was wearing her kebab uniform. Someone should open a greengrocer's on the street. None of them seem to eat any fruit or veggie.

He DID look like Spit the Dog.

Just seen that Sarah Lou is to return also next year. Beth any too. They are all coming out of the woodwork. Could be interesting but will she stay in Gail's house with the elastic walls?

How come Andy McDonald is never mentioned? It's weird they haven't reintroduced his character.

Neighbours has been bringing lots of old characters back recently for short runs using the original actors. It would be nice to see more of this in Corrie, it's funny seeing how people have changed. Mal Kennedy has just been back for about a week and now gone again.

I think Andy lives in Spain. That is why Liz always goes there when she's split up with her latest lover. Perhaps the actor doesn't want to come back. He looked remarkably unlike any of the rest of his family.

Andy is in Spain but he did come back briefly when Steve and Becky got married.

Liz is unrecognisable.

Jim is very recognisable so he is.

Just read that Sarah Lou is set to come back! my mum and Gran have always watch corrie but I only started watching it when Sarah got preggers cos we were the same age

why bring Sarah Lou back? She was crap and pointless first time around.

They need to replace Kylie so I suppose Sarah Lou fits the bill although I don't know where she and Bethany will sleep. Unless she is going to rent the Windass place? Hopefully she will put Nick in his place and not pussyfoot around him like the rest of the family do.

I think Sarah Lou and Bethany are coming back so Gail can have a house off with Eileen to see who can fit the most people into their house. Eileen is going to be so hacked off she is going to have to allow Todd home and track down Marcus and sweaty fireman so they can move back in and Gail doesn't steal her mantle.

there will be two Beths. that will be confusing.

Okay I googled, she was born in 2000!

What are the chances that despite having been brought up in Italy her accent will be decidedly Manc?

I suspect the actor who played Andy would love to come back,he's done very little acting since they dropped him. Bit mean to keep only one twin....

I really want Bethany to have an Italian/Manc combo accent. However, she will be like Peter Barlow, born and raised in Scotland but proper northern. Nothing could be as bad as St Ella and Carl's terrible accents though.

Maybe they should reintroduce Andy with a new face and body (sorry old Andy, no hard feelings).
