Here we are again - a brand new thread for more Corrie ramblings.

Can't believe Cilla still hadn't turned up by the end of the last thread.

Still hoping for an enormous cast-cull. Hoping for a bomb / gas explosion / serial killer / all of the previous.

The name was Gavin Rodwell, so it looks as if he is Michael's son after all.

House size is irrelevant on corrie because they're elastic!! Don't think money is an issue. Another vote saying NO to YASMEEN.

I must be the only one not feeling particularly sorry for Steve, it's just not working for me somehow. I find I'm not believing the storyline, feels as if it's been inserted as an "issue". Bet it gets resolved unfeasibly quickly....

I did laugh at 'cat loving Anne Frank'.

How old is Mary meant to be? I got a huge shock when Corriepedia (coronationstreet.wikia.com/wiki/Mary_Taylor) cites her age as 40!! I assumed she was in her late 50's.

Strangely, even though I usually can't stand Dev and agree he (or at least the bloke that plays him) is a dreadful actor, I too found his and Mary's talk really moving, and am also loving the Dev n Julie storyline.

I thought Dev was good tonight. His crap acting is all part of his charm.

Re Mary being 40, she said tonight to Michelle "someone of your generation......"; but Michelle is her generation, she must only be a couple of years below 40!

I think Dev may have confused Mary further with his little speech, the brandy, and offering to watch the film with her. Ho hum.

Gawd the Michael story is so boring.

Google says that Patti Clare who plays Mary was born on March 3, 1976, so 38 years old (!!!!!). I don't believe that. 48 perhaps.

Norris is 74 and weren't they almost a couple at one stage? And I never even noticed much of an age gap.

The Michael story is so dull, his son who isn't his son is cute though.

They can't let Kal's family move into Anna's house....

So Michelle and Mary are the same age! Funny isn't it, if they paired off Norris and Michelle we'd all be [shocked], yet with the Norris and Mary friendship no one thought anything of it.

According to Corriepedia Mary was born in 1974 and Michelle in 1976, so they're 40 and 38. Mary seems more like she's in her 50s to me.
